3 Environmental Remediation Incentive Information Below is a brief description of environmental remediation status for the 630 Anchor Street property in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Executive Summary Chromalloy is voluntarily addressing soil and ground water issues at the property with oversight from FLDEP s regional office in Pensacola. Impacts at the property consist of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and metals. A comprehensive site investigation and delineation of impacts was completed and approved by FLDEP in The agency approved a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) in 2012 and Chromalloy is in the process of carrying out planned remaining design and remediation tasks. Remedial plans approved and planned include the following: 1). A pumping test is planned and will determine hydrogeological data for use in detailed design of the remedy for the site. 2). Groundwater flow computer modeling will be conducted to confirm that impacted groundwater will not migrate beyond subject property boundaries. 3). Active remediation of an area of chlorinated solvents beneath the main building was proposed in the RAP as contingency. This remediation includes in-situ treatment of groundwater beneath the main building at 630 Anchors Street. A work plan will be submitted to FLDEP for approval prior to implementing the remediation. 4). An institutional control will be implemented for the Property limiting its use to commercial/industrial and prohibiting the use of groundwater for anything other than monitoring. 5 ). An engineering control consisting of the existing asphalt paved parking lot will be implemented in the southwestern portion of the Property to remediate the metals impacted soil in that area, and is subject to approval by FDEP. We are optimistic that once this work is performed, and assuming that the results are as we anticipate, the FLDEP will issue a No Further Action letter to us as it has done with regard to the parcel across the road at Anchor Street. 24 W.
