4 Integrating policies: Biodiversity Protection Water Management Renewable Energy Project ANCHOR The results: Applied Methodology for determination of river sections according to their eligibility for construction of hydropower plants Degree of sensitivity of all criteria A map with river sections determined to be appropriate, medium-appropriate and inappropriate for building hydroelectric power plants The results are part of the second RBMP!

5 Project FISHFARMING: Integrating policies: Water Management Aquaculture Main objective: Improvement of the methodologies for effective management of aquaculture activities in order to achieve good ecological status / potential of water bodies, including: Better assessment of pressures and impacts on water bodies with fish farming activities; Development of Methodology for assessment of the ecological capacity of reservoirs for fish production in cages (ECRfish); Providing effective aquaculture technologies limiting the negative impact on water bodies; Propose conservation measures for rare bird species in NATURA 2000 areas where fish farming is carried out; Updating the RBMP PoM to reduce the impact by freshwater fish farming.
