Firing for your processes DUMAG Burner in for liquid or gaseous waste materials DUMAG industrial burners of the IB..-series are employed as multifuel burners in combustion chambers in conjunction with various standard parts of the COMOFF-System. Liquid or gaseous waste includes waste oil, sewage, solvents, slurry, acidic waste, waste gas, off gas, and waste air of both the high and low caloric variety. For starting up the system, burners are fuelled with either heating gas or heating oil or a combination of both. Heating gas or heating oil might also be used as supporting fuel with low-caloric waste materials. Incinerator with burner 15 MW for propane or natural gas, heavy oil or diesel oil, for 4 additional waste liquids and for 2 currents of waste air Not only the burner itself houses the various burner lances used for the combustion of liquid or gaseous waste - for waste gas, off-gas and waste air, the burner is equipped with an extension, the gas distribution ring RVT. The ring is used to inject high- or low-caloric gases. When working with low-caloric waste liquids, the pre-combustion chamber comes into use, supporting the prevaporizing of the waste liquid. Additionally, waste air, low-caloric gas or off-gas may be added in the pre-combustion chamber. After the burnout of the flame, these gases are added and burn the combustible components. Since the number of currents created during operation of such a burner system is often rather high, the necessary lances can t be attached to the burner or the pre-combustion chamber. This led to the development of lances with fittings attached to the combustion chamber injecting directly into the flame. The lance is either air-cooled or the amount of cooling air is high enough for a fraction of it to be used as combustion air. The final product is always the same: Clean combustion! 2 Burner Characteristics Power range of multifuel burners 1 to 170 MW, for details please refer to CTP-DUMAG-documents on Industrial Burner IB.. Burners are from our standard range, individually equipped with standard attachments and configured to fit whatever special use Dependable ignition by spark via high energy ignition device featuring pneumatic retraction unit or ignition burner with separate combustion air supply Lances equipped with pneumatic retraction unit to protect burner lances from irradiation area from combustion chamber Economic use of compressed air as atomizer for liquid materials Additionally, burner lances attached to the combustion chamber-wall via lance holders may be used for waste liquids or waste gases More than 40 years of experience in constructing burners for liquid and gaseous waste materials More than 40 years of experience with the DUMAG - ultrasonic nozzle DUMAG Burner This combustion plant for waste gas, waste liquids, off-gas and waste air is equipped with a 15 MW burner Additionally, burner lances with ultrasonic nozzles are used, which inject the waste liquid directly into the combustion chamber Burner for Diesel oil / heavy oil and either propane or natural gas with 2 additional burner lances inside the burner for the injection of waste liquids DUMAG -burner for gas mixtures and liquid waste materials Valve rack inside the plant

Firing for your processes CTP-DUMAG Advantage Competent partner with decades of experience No flame holder plates at burner outlet thanks to highly turbulent ultrasonic nozzle or specially designed gas lances. Thus less contamination and blackouts, lower maintenance rate Flame length and temperature distribution adjustable via burner swirl and controllable ultrasonic nozzle No rotating parts in the hot combustion chamber Newly developed ultrasonic atomizer nozzles with increased flame stability and increased control range up to 1:7 Minimal pressure loss via burner Economic use of compressed air as atomizer for heating oil or liquid waste materials High availability Delivery of Combustion chamber with precombustion chamber for liquid waste materials and off-gas Delivery of combustion chamber parts Delivery of the pre-combustion chamber, fixed preceding the combustion chamber The DUMAG pre-combustion chamber VBK is developed for water-rich low-caloric liquids. The hot VBK-lining intensively irradiates into the atomized spray and causes pre-vaporisation It is also possible to inject offgases or waste air via the precombustion chamber VBK to intensively mix with flame Burner with pre-combustion chamber for off-gases and waste liquids No baffle plates at burner-outlet... thus no contamination and blackouts due to contamination during operation.

Valve Racks 1. Diligent lay-out of control groups 2. Valve rack prior to delivery. During mechanical testing, preadjustments are made. The local switchboard is delivered fully wired Visualisation and Operation Interface of Burner Controls Customized process visualization either local operator panel or control room CTP-DUMAG Services Lay-out and engineering of the system Delivery of ready-for-use burner system including control and safety technology Delivery of valve rack including all necessary controls Mechanical testing at the CTP-DUMAG workshop also for big burners reduces commissioning time Documentation Supervision of erection Commissioning Service and remote maintenance of the burner plant

Excerpt from DUMAG s COMOFF-System The COMOFF-system is a ctp-dumag-developed system that allows standard components to be assembled in a way to result in useful devices for individual uses. Please ask for our COMOFF-catalogue! 1. Burner block, available as seperate assembly group 2. Cooling air or combustion air burner lances, attached to the combustion chamber s front plate 3. Gas distribution ring RVT for injection of off-gas or low-caloric gases Burner lance for liquids with O ring seal gasket 2. Burner lance for liquids with stuffing box seal gasket 3. Lance fittings for attachment in burner chamber with shuttable ball valve in case of lance s removal Gas lance for gas distribution inside the burner 2. Gas sleeve tube including burner lance or gas lance and stuffing box seal gasket for gas distribution inside the burner 1. 2.

Firing for your processes Spray Patterns and Lay-Out Various spray patterns of the ultrasonic nozzle are collected and can be included constructively into the mounting positions of burners and burner lances A D Lay-out of flame-geometry to determine mounting positions of burners Supervision of Erection, Commissioning Fine Tuning and Testing Supervision of erection and commissioning by CTP-DUMAGtechnicians For more sensible uses of burners and nozzles, testing may be conducted at our burner and nozzle test rigs to ensure functionality of application.
