Is the in-depth exhibition section dedicated to storing energy from renewable sources. The project showcases Energy Storage Systems: the key technology for development in the direction of models of energy sharing and the creation of a smart energy community.

8 Circular Smart City Città Sostenibile (the Sustainable City) is a special project launched in 2009 as a laboratory for active, participatory ideas. The aim of this project is to put the service for the public and business under the spotlight. Bringing companies that offer innovative services and integrated technologies together with local authorities, the project will help guiding the transformation of our towns and cities towards a circular model. A city ever more circular, with a path from the environment and positive management of the area to the destination of quality of life for the public. The exhibition area will have 3 macro sectors: Urban innovation: urban regeneration, recovery of existing assets, cultural heritage, efficient public lighting, green areas for mitigating climate concerns, co-working areas and spaces for sport and wellness. Mobility innovation: presentation of examples and solutions for interconnected mobility and efficient transport systems from the perspective of energy and zero emissions. On show will be all players in the supply chain, from producers of vehicles, technologies and infrastructure, sharing and interoperability systems, green infrastructure, cycle paths, smart stations, for passengers and goods, with the aim of highlighting new models of consumption and lifestyles. Digital innovation: home automation, monitoring systems, smart grids, how digitalization has an impact in business models. Information, Training, Future Key Energy provides thorough, in-depth research and content analyses of all recently-adopted directives and resulting scenarios regarding the fields of renewable energy and new circular cities.
