13 Raising the Participation Age Legal requirement for education or training until 18 o Full-time further education (college or sixth form) o An apprenticeship o A traineeship o Part-time education or training whilst employed/volunteering for 20+ hours per week o Retake Maths and English GCSE until grade 4+ achieved

14 How do young people decide? o Online information available, but not accessible o Most influential sources of advice are teachers, employers and parents! o but 55% of parents feel they don t know enough about their children s options o Focus on moments of choice, but moments of inspiration are just as important o Explore before you decide!
