2 HEAD OFFICE & DISTRIBUTION CENTRE 11 Harrick Road PO Box 1477, Tullamarine Vic 3043 Australia Telephone: Facsimile: Website: Dear Customer, RE: ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT Please find enclosed a copy of our Environmental Impact Report. Our company has been involved in recycled and recyclable products and waste minimization since 1969 and we are continually expanding on our waste minimisation initiatives. We first produced the Environmental Impact Report in 1988, in response to queries received regarding the manufacture and disposal of various products, both recyclable and non recyclable. Over the years we have added to the report as new products and initiatives became available. We are pleased to advise that we are a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant, which is a co-regulatory agreement between key stakeholders in the packaging supply chain and all tiers of Government to minimize the environmental impacts of consumer packaging in Australia. The original covenant was created in 1999, and a revised version has been in place since Its core purpose is to assist industry to reduce the amount of packaging waste going to landfill using the principle of product stewardship ; that is, taking responsibility over the life cycle of the packaging from design to disposal. In addition, it will help reduce energy and other resources: water, energy, trees and so on. With climate change, drought and land degradation impacting on business and society, this is an important step for all businesses. We hope that our report provides the answers to your questions and assists you in fulfilling your environmental obligations, but if further information is required, please do not hesitate to contact Richard Park on DECEMBER 2011
