The Preprogrammed and Premium range combines quality and technology described in the added value of drivers developed by the R + D + i of KOKOH RESEARCH, which offer additional features such as additional protection against surges and overtemperature in led node, variation the luminous flux, remote management point to point and are fully compatible with technological advances developed by our R + D + i. Drivers KOKOH Our drivers control are the result of years of study of our R+D+i on the operation of LED technology. Offer greater benefit in the overall performance of the luminaire, as in the life of the LED. Drivers developed by KOKOH are constantly evolving according to the latest technological advances in led technology. The advantages of the use of our drivers are as follows 1. Minimize the risk of failure by improper operation of the LED Our optical blocks are designed such that failure of one LED does not affect more than a quarter of the total LED luminaire. The LED module is configured in 4 separate arrays of 6 LEDs (L24 version) or 2 arrays of 6 LEDs (L18 version) connected in series and controlled by the driver KOKOH. With this configuration the LEDs will consume the same power independently without the need of balanced circuits and in case of failure of a LED, the maximum affection will be only 6 LED of all LED that make the fixture. 2. Protection against surges, transients and high voltages In order to offer the highest reliability and safety in our luminaires and lighting equipment, the KOKOH driver has additional protection in addition to the power supply capable of protecting the driver, control electronics and LED modules against possible Anomalies that may appear on the power line such as atmospheric surge, transients and accidental cut of the neutral conductor of the network. This protection is independent of the surge arresters to be installed in the public lighting panel and at no time replaces them. page 6

Protection against high temperatures In the event of a sudden increase in temperature, the KOKOH driver has temperature sensors that monitor the heat emitted by the luminaire at all times, acting in the event of an abnormality to protect the whole of the equipment from premature failure by a Excess heat. 4. Variation of the luminous flux The driver developed by KOKOH allows the variation of luminous flux of the luminaire and consequently to minimize the energy consumption of the installation to obtain an additional saving in the hours of less use of the installation. Our R & D department has been able to develop various methods of variation of luminous flux depending on the characteristics of the installation where the luminaires will be located. In the case of traditional installations replacing luminaires with discharge lamp technology by LED luminaires, the KOKOH drivers allow you to take advantage of dual level lightning control line or luminous flux regulators with voltage stabilization as used for sodium lamps( No matter the model), to reduce the power consumed by luminaires at night. This last quality perpetuates the life of the luminous flux regulators, which after the entry of LED technology had been relegated to the background because they are incompatible. For installations where there are no luminous flux regulators methods or for new installations, the KOKOH drivers allow selfregulation without the need for an external signal. For this it has a programming capable of assigning up to 8 steps of control so as to vary the power consumed as a function of the time that is in progress. This feature is performed by the programmable version. The self-programmable version has autonomous capacity of auto-adjust regulation according to the time of the year, since the regulation needs are not the same for summer as for winter. Thanks to its complex algorithms of control, the KOKOH driver can discriminate in which time of the year it is and self-adjusting its steps according to the hours of darkness in each moment. 5. Remote management The future of outdoor lighting through integration of this within the Smart City concept. It allows sustainable development of lighting with less consumption of energy resources and greater capacity of infrastructure management. Our R & D has developed drivers that have the ability to be integrated into a Smart City for remote management through a communication module, managing to control all operating parameters of the light (on schedule, variation luminous flux) and know in real time consumption, hours of operation, breakdowns... page 7

Our R & D has endeavored to reduce the temperature by developing a heat sink to ensure maximum heat dissipation of the LED and turn the sink reaches a minimum surface temperature. The heat sink used in luminaires KOKOH, is designed for maximum heat dissipation thanks to design your fins, dissipation Surface and the thickness of the base in contact with the LED. The heat sink is made of extruded according to DIN EN 12020, the material used is aluminum tempered according to EN AW 6060-T66, topped with a black anodized color over the whole surface. This combination makes our heatsinks one of the most efficient in the market.
