FIRST AID MEASURES Inhalation Skin contact Eye contact Ingestion If inhaled, remove from exposure and have patient lie down and keep quiet. If patient is not breathing, start artificial respiration immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician if necessary. If spilt on the skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash affected areas of skin immediately. If concentrate is splashed in eyes, flush with running water for at least 15 minutes. Heating can release vapours which can be ignited. Extinguishing Media Water spray, foam, dry chemical, C02. Fire Fighting Instructions Evacuate personnel to a safe area. Keep personnel removed and upwind of fire. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear full protective equipment Shut off source of fuel, if possible and without risk. Use water spray. Cool tank/container with water spray. Fight fire from maximum distance, use extreme caution as heat may decompose material and rupture containers. Combustion products Hazchem Code 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Not known. 3Z This product triggers the Hazardous Substances (Emergency Management) requirement for fire extinguishes whenever it is held in quantities of 500 litres or more, either alone or in aggregate or with other flammable substances Spill precautions Spill containment Spill clean up Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment during clean up. DO NOT get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash clothing after use. DO NOT store or consume food, drink or tobacco in areas where they may become contaminated with this material. This product must be under the control of an approved handler during use. Records of use as described in Management of Agrichemicals (NZS8049) must be kept. Store product in original container only, away from other pesticides, fertiliser food or feed and under lock and key. Not for use or storage in or around the home. Stores containing more than 100 litres of this product require secondary containment and are subject to signage.
