For inorganic deposits: NOXOL -100 is exceptionally effective in the removal and dissolution of iron oxides including the difficult to remove hematites and magnetites at a mild ph. The product will simultaneously remove any small amounts of calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide that are present. This product is also used during the Pre-Operational Cleaning process. NOXOL -550 provides a fast and efficient method in the removal and dissolution of calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide. The product has a unique double action capability in that, unlike other cleaning products, it acts on and removes both the anionic and cationic parts of the deposit. NOXOL -678 is a near neutral ph formulation specifically designed and formulated to rapidly dissolve a wide range of contaminants many of which are frequently found in heat transfer systems. The range of contaminants removed includes oxides, carbonates, phosphates, halides of iron and calcium as well as other metal ions, and calcium sulfate. NOXOL -771 is a product designed to dissolve barium, strontium, and radium sulfate scales, as well as some other types of inorganic deposits including aluminum and magnesium compounds. NOXOL -400 is a metal surface protection chemical which acts by forming a very thin organic layer on cleaned surfaces, thereby significantly delaying subsequent oxidation of the metal substrate. The mode of action is accomplished due to the polar group of the product having an affinity to the polar group of the metal surface, while an alkyl group protects the surface. The product is used in the Pre-Operational Cleaning process. NOXOL -ph Adjuster has a potential dual role during pre-operational cleaning first by effectively adjusting ph, and secondly when required the conditioning of both carbon and stainless steel surfaces. page 1

2 For Organic deposits: KIRASOL -318SC is an exceptionally effective heavy duty, low foam industrial cleaner and oil emulsifier concentrate that removes grime, oils, greases, light hydrocarbons and entrapped contaminants. It loosens and disperses entrapped contaminants preventing their redeposition and enabling them to be easily washed or wiped away. The formulation is effective at very low concentrations. KIRASOL -340 will safely remove heavy hydrocarbons, waxes, vegetable oils, natural resins such as pitch, oil based inks, asphalts, adhesives, grime and many other contaminants that are difficult to remove even with hydrocarbon solvents. A unique characteristic of the formulation is that after use, contaminants phase separate and can be removed and easily washed away. KIRASOL -345 is a cleaner that will safely remove heavy hydrocarbons, heavy hydrocarbon residues, crude oil, crude oil residues, asphalts, grime and many other contaminants that are difficult to remove even with petroleum based cleaners. * KIRASOL -340 and KIRASOL -345 are products with similar performance. The correct product choice depends on site-specific considerations and other application parameters. KIRASOL -360 is a high speed cleaner that will safely remove carbon products, vegetable oils, lubricants, synthetic coatings, polymeric binders, grime and many other contaminants that are difficult to remove even with petroleum based cleaners.
