ACTIVITY 1: MODELLING, ENGINEERING AND PROTOTYPING Sub-Activity 1.1: Prttypes Definitin Fine Tuning Sub-Activity 1.2: Prttypes Mdelling and Assessment Sub-Activity 1.3: Engineering and Prttyping

ACTIVITY 1: The SEAMS Platfrm Cncept (Prt f Valencia)

ACTIVITY 1: LNG Infrastructure Develpment (Prt f Livrn) PORTS AND VESSELS TOSCANA LNG REGASIFICATION PLANT

ACTIVITY 2: REAL LIFE TRIALS SEA TERMINALS will perfrm tw integrated real life trials at the prts f Valencia (Spain) and Livrn (Italy). Real life trials will be carried ut thrugh the fllwing sub-activities Sub-Activity 2.1 Design f Real Life Trials and Demnstratin Plan SA2.1 will address and prepare the different actins needed t carry ut the SEA TERMINALS real life trials. These actins will be based n tw appraches: Smart, Energy-Efficient and Adaptive Operatins: Deplyment and test f the SEAMS Platfrm and BlackBx cncepts that will encmpass the integratin f a new dynamic and real time management framewrk regarding energy efficiency, cnsumptin reductin and emissins minimizatin at prt cntainer terminals. Lw carbn / Zer Emissin Ec-Efficient Prttypes: Innvative Prttypes including LNG pwered equipment, full electric/hybrid machinery as well as last generatin ec-efficient cntainer handling equipment with significant capacity t reduce GHG emissins.

ACTIVITY 3: SEA TERMINALS PROTOTYPES MARKET AND BUSINESS PLAN SEA TERMINALS will prduce detailed market and business plans fr the presented SEA TERMINALS prttypes and derived pre-cmmercial utputs in rder t define and develp a strategy fr the cmmercial release f the slutins generated within the prject. This activity will be a relevant actin as ne f the main gals f the prject is t effectively demnstrate feasibility fr the market adptin f ec-efficient prttypes with high develpment degree and ready fr cmmercialisatin. Sub-Activity 3.1 Prduct and Market Analysis Within SA3.1, different prspects n prduct and market analysis fr each f the SEA TERMINALS prttypes will be carried ut: Current status f the prt cntainer industrial sectr Ptential custmers Prviders and cmpetitrs Sub-Activity 3.2 SEA TERMINALSS Business and Cmmercializatin Strategies SEA TERMINALS will define particularised business and cmmercialisatin strategies fr the effective market integratin f the prpsed prttypes.

EXPECTED RESULTS Cntributin t a prgressive and quick decarbnisatin f prt cntainer activities in Eurpe, thus reducing GHG and pllutant emissins. Demnstratin f feasibility (financial, technical and envirnmental) f mature integrated slutins based n smart energy management, ec-efficient technlgies and alternative fuels applied t prt machinery and equipment. Prvisin f an innvative and market-sided apprach in the way that energy is managed at prt terminals, cnsidering it as key driver fr imprving peratins and cmpetitiveness. Prmtin f a cllabrative framewrk amng prts, prt peratrs and equipment manufacturers, thus establishing new relatinships nt nly based n cmmercial interests but als n cmmn innvatin pprtunities. Transfer f the prject utputs t as many as pssible stakehlders at Eurpean level in rder t accelerate the evlutin f the prt sectr twards a lw-carbn emissin perative mdel.
