Wastewater Management :Bangpa-in Industrial Estate 1. Water Supply for Industrial Use 2. Wastewater 3. Wastewater Treatment Service Rate 4. Central Wastewater Treatment Plant 5. Operation Process 6. Operation and Maintenance Cost 7. Mornitoring and Measurement of Wastewater 8. Water Reuse

1. Water Supply for Industrial Use Present Source Raw water from Chaopraya River Capacity 48,000 m 3 /day (in order to comply with state policy) Average Comsumption Approximately 12,000 15,000 m 3 /day supplied to users covering an area of 1,176 rai or an average of 8.5 m 3 /rai/day

2. Wastewater 2.1 Wastewater All kinds of used water are considered as wastewater 2.2 Quality of Wastewater Quality of wastewater discharging into the central wastewater treatment plant has to comply with the IEAT regulation (for instance; BOD level must be not over 500 mg/l) 2.3 Quantiy of Wastewater Quantity of wastewater is approximately 80% of water supply

3. Wastewater Treatment Service Rate 1. BOD < 200 mg/l 7 Baht / m < BOD < 300 mg/l 8 Baht / m < BOD < 500 mg/l 9 Baht / m 3 4. BOD > 500 mg/l 20 Baht / m 3 5. Over IEAT Standard 20 Baht / m 3 6. Quantity of Waste Water 80 % of Water Supply

4. Central Wastewater Treatment Plant 4.1 Activated Sludge Capacity 18,000 m 3 /day 4.2 Cost of Investment Land 25 rai 40 mil. baht Civil Work 140 mil. baht Machinery 120 mil. baht Total 300 mil. baht (Remark: not including pipeline network)

6.Operation and Maintenance Cost Electricity for operation and pumplift 1.50 baht/m 3 Maintenance and Staff 1.50 baht/m 3 Environmental Monitoring 0.50 baht/m 3 Sludge Disposal 0.60 baht/m 3 IEAT regulation fee 0.35 baht/m 3 Administration 0.50 baht/m 3 Total 4.95 baht/m 3 (Remark: not including replacement cost)

7.Monitoring and Measurement of Wastewater Sampling Point Frequency (per month) Factory 1 Influent 1 Effluent 2 Pumping station 2 Influent Pumping station

B L D C Bangpa-in Land Development Co.,Ltd. Water Reuse Bangpa-in Industrial Estate has promoted water reuse in many areas; for instance; Watering green area, garden Cleaning road Use as raw water for production of industrialwater
