2 Delivering next-generation hydrogen refuelling SIDE H is a modular hydrogen refuelling concept designed and constructed using standard components. This ensures future support and maintenance, while volume availability will help reduce component prices. based on different blocks of components assembled to provide a perfect match for your current needs. You can then add more blocks as demand grows and you want to supply the rising demand for green hydrogen. This flexible setup is a plug-and-play solution that complies with all international standards, Wind Solar Hydro Each solution consists of standard components. 3 The principles of making a Hydrogen Refueling Station is quite easy. In the below illustration we have listed all the components and as we use standarnized components it s just a matter of putting the right components together in order to design a solution that fulfills the clients current requirements. When the demand for clean green hydrogen increases we have the possibility to add more components or change the size of the components. This help keeping the initial investments at a correct level but reassures you that the HRS can be expanded when you need it. High pressure Hydrogen supply Compressor Medium pressure Dispenser Green Hydrogen 2 or 3 step compression Low Pressure Dispenser 350 and/or 700 bar with or without cooling Storage at different pressure Working principal of the SIDE H HRS from green energy to Green Hydrogen for the vehicles. Flexible storage Available as either stationary and/or transportable storage Transportable storage provides opportunities for transporting and reselling excess hydrogen generated on-site from a HRS installation, making possible additional revenue during the early days of hydrogen Connections to accept deliveries of hydrogen if on-site production is insufficient Easy maintenance and service Advanced Remote Monitoring and Control system for automation with little human involvement required Components that no longer meet capacity requirements can easily be replaced by new standard components or they can be cascadecoupled to increase capacity Modular design makes it easy to service the system and still keep it running at reduced capacity

4 Components in the SIDE H solution Hydrogen supply either via bottles (for very small applications) or preferably with on-site hydrogen generation using electrolysis (starting from 2 kg. H2/day). Producing hydrogen onsite avoids logistics risk and costs, as well as ensuring the hydrogen is completely green, with no CO2 impacts associated with transport. You can easily expand on-site hydrogen production by adding more electrolysers or by upgrading existing electrolysers to produce more hydrogen. Units can be upgraded from 43 to 200 kg. H2 daily. Storage is modular and can easily be expanded as needed. Storage takes place under different pressures in order to avoid spending time and money on storing hydrogen at pressures greater than really needed. Storage can range from a few kilos to several tons. Depending on demand, pressure extends from 200 bar to 900 bar and beyond. The hydrogen is compressed with differently configured units, depending on the flow rate and required compression. The compressors normally work in several steps, depending on input pressure and required output pressure. Compressor components can be duplicated if required and if requirements increase the existing components can be either placed in parallel or replaced, with the existing equipment being moved to another location. Movable solutions GreenHydrogen solutions are modular and movable Choose a solution to fit your current needs you can easily relocate it if needs arise elsewhere or the solution becomes too small Easy and quick to move and put into service at a new site Connect to renewable energy sources Connect to directly to renewable energy sources Convert the electricity to hydrogen as close to the energy harvesting system as possible to reduce transport losses and increase efficiency Smaller systems can be placed anywhere next to wind/solar/hydro energy sources, creating HRS better coverage, close to the users

5 Dispensers can either be 350 or 700 bar or a combination of these pressures. They can be delivered with just one dispenser or several to increase the number of clients your setup can serve at the same time. A special compact solution is also available with the station controller mounted on a compact 10 or 20 frame, with storage integrated if required. Dispensers are equipped with Point of Sale (POS) systems so the client can pay using a credit card, Apple Pay or other accepted payment methods. Cooling can be added to any SIDE H solution, paving the way for faster refuelling. This option can be added later, when demand increases. This ensures a lower initial investment and ensures future expansion capabilities for your HRS. Cooling requirements are calculated on the basis of the number of vehicles to be fuelled in a given time frame. It also depends on ambient temperatures and the dispenser pressure. GreenHydrogen will always find solutions best suited to your particular needs and requirements. Design options You can customise the exterior to comply with your client s needs and preferences Colours Size Materials Logos Add public WiFi access at the dispensers Add screens at the dispenser to provide advertising aimed at clients Quick service Local partners ensure rapid first-level support Second and third-level support will always be available to connect remotely to the system and carry out preventive maintenance Spare parts are available centrally in Europe and can be dispatched quickly whenever needed

6 Hydrogen key facts Hydrogen is the most plentiful element in the universe, found mainly in water and organic compounds. Hydrogen makes up 75% of the mass of the entire universe. Green, clean hydrogen is produced from renewable energy sources, including wind turbines, solar farms and hydro plants. Hydrogen can be channelled anywhere it is needed and can be stored long-term when needed. Green energy Hydrogen will play a major role in the fossil-free transport of the future in all kind of vehicles: Scooters/motorbikes Cars Buses Trains Fork lifts Trucks Boats Aircraft Hydrogen is safe to produce, store and transport. Hydrogen is carbon-free, light, odour-free and non-toxic. Hydrogen has been used in industrial applications for many years as an integrated part of processes and setups that include power plants (for cooling), chemical plants (ammonia production), electronics manufacture, steel production, oil and gas refineries, etc. And we are ready to play our part and deliver complete hydrogen refuelling solutions, along with our partners. 7 About GreenHydrogen GreenHydrogen has been supplying advanced electrolysers since We work closely with leading technology partners, universities, energy authorities and policymakers. We have spent more than 100 man-years on R&D, and participated in numerous publicly funded electrolyser demo projects in Denmark and other parts of Europe. Our electrolysers have been tested in power-to-power installations (e.g., mobile base stations in remote/off-grid locations), as on-site hydrogen generators at hydrogen fueling stations, and in power-to-gas applications. In 2018, our electrolysers will be installed as part of a methanation solution, a solar-powered hydrogen refueling station, a power-to-power solution that enables apartments to go off grid using solar power, and a solution where windgenerated electricity is used to produce hydrogen for resale. SIDE H hydrogen refuelling stations are already in service at multiple sites we would be pleased to welcome you to our community of satisfied clients.
