Such approval will only be granted where there is no practical alternative and the approval will have conditions attached e.g. laying the water main in mild steel and concrete encasing it. Reviewed standard drawing versions. Added Tyco water as a supplier for DW and NDW pipe lines. Changed Manifold to inline meters. Inserted comments For above ground only e.g. submetering for Elster V100 meters. Added Itron (formerly Actaris) as a supplier. Changed Elster Metering to Elster. Changed Elster Metering to Elster. i

Added the following for clarity:. DN90 PE may only be used on drinking water lines in dual water supply systems, or to be used as hydrant risers. Changed the PE hydrant riser to DN125: The PE riser for the hydrant shall be DN125. However, DN90 PE risers with Plasson moulded DN90 hydrant fittings including Plasson backing ring and slotted flange may be used. Changed the Min radius of 25 times OD at 15 0 C to PIPA requirement: PE pipes may be curved on site to a minimum radius as per POP202. Pipes must not be bent around stakes. Sand bags may be used to bend the pipes Deleted manifolds requirements for buried submeter installations Reworded the last paragraph so that inline meters to be used for both buried and cupboard installations: Submeters installed in buried boxes and/or cupboard shall be conventional (also known as inline) meters. 2.5 Updated references and to and 2.4.4, reworded as: Depending on their installation, see Section and for further details of submeters Added Itron (formerly Actaris) as a supplier to the last paragraph (Previous) Deleted whole previous Clause Clause and became and ii
