Always warm. Always electricity. Always money SUNMACHINE Vertriebsgesellschaft mbh Daimlerstraße 21 D Kempten Germany Telephone +49 (0)8 31 / Fax +49 (0)8 31 / info@sunmachine.com The new Sunmachine 2005: The perfect heating system. Your own private power station. A secure source of income.

You can't see what's in it. You can't hear what's in it. But you can feel it. Sunmachine owners get their entire heating costs back plus a 30% return on top. The Sunmachine is a heating boiler. The most environment-friendly one you can imagine. It produces virtually no contaminants. Your chimney is now actually no more than a ventilation shaft. The only residuary product of the combustion process is a high-quality liquid mineral fertilizer that will make all the plants in your house and garden flourish. The Sunmachine is a power station. And a very elegant one at that. Your electricity is generated by a Stirling engine. This is a clean, noiseless engine. Just as clean and noiseless as an electromotor. The difference is that it does not consume electricity; it generates electricity. Electricity that you can feed into the grid and sell to the grid operators. At state-guaranteed prices. The Sunmachine is a cash dispenser for home use. You put in fuel for 1 euro and you get out electricitiy für 1.30 euros. That means, the more fuel you use, the more money the machine earns for you. A rule of thumb: your income from selling electricity is always 30 % above your expenses for fuel. That's healthy economics. And what keeps the ecology healthy, too, is a burner that turns everything we've known so far on its head. (Even the flame.) Designed to do the job: The new Sunmachine. A bundle of energy in a sound-proof housing. This is all you are left with when you heat with the Sunmachine: some liquid mineral fertilizer and 30 cents profit on every euro you spend on fuel.

Transforms wood into gas, gas into heat, heat into electricity and electricity into money The pellets are fed in at the top. The real revolution is the interplay of the completely newly developed pellet burner and the latest generation of Stirling engine. Pellets are clean, environment-friendly, future-proof, always available and inexpensive. The following chapter will show you in detail what makes them the ideal fuel beyond that. The machine produces its own heating gas. One of the special features of the new pellet burner is that it converts every one of the pellets fed into it into gas, leaving no residue. Virtually no ash is produced in the process. Therefore, you do not heat with solid fuel, but with homemade gas that is CO2-neutral, ecologically clean and pollutant-free. The gas flame is standing on its head. As is the entire industry. The invention of the upside-down burner, from which the flame shoots down onto a heat exchanger from above like a reaction control rocket, leaves the experts amazed and gets the engine really going. The extremely high temperature helps the Stirling to achieve its enormous momentum. 200 years - the age of the invention. 20 years the time it took us to find the solution: a modern wood gasifier, burning pellets with a vertical flame, combined with the latest generation of Stirling engine. This is the most lucrative way to convert fuel into electricity. Because for every euro you burn in fuel, you get a guaranteed 1.30 euros back from the grid operators. Produce it yourself: absolutely clean electricity, and you know where it comes from: from renewable raw materials without the usual waste of energy. Because you can heat your entire house with the waste heat from producing the electricity. The engine tirelessly feeds 3 kw of electricity into the grid. To make sure it can keep that up for decades, we have built it to uncompromisingly high quality standards. The main crankshaft bearing alone is made of tool steel and is 11 cm in diameter. The waste product : useful condensate. Due to the high heating value, all that is actually left over from the combustion process is the condensed residual moisture from the wood, containing valuable minerals and natural trace elements. You can safely pour it down the drain or you can use it to fertilize your plants.

The more pellets we burn, the better it is for the forests, the world and future generations. What a wonderful childhood we had... Wood is a commodity and is subject to the laws of the market. Stable long-term demand for wood products safeguards the existence of forests for future generations. Pellets can make a lasting contribution to this. Pellets enjoy price stability. The market for pellets is also calculable for the forestry industry in the long term. As a renewable fuel, they can always be produced in any quantity required. This makes them crisis-proof and rules out serious fluctuations in price. Pellets are pure energy. They have a considerably higher heating value than firewood, burn without producing residue or pollutants and can significantly reduce the environmental impact (from which our forests also suffer). In other words, pellets do only good: for our forests and for the world our children will live in. Pellets are practical and clean. The are pressed into granules at high pressure without any additives or binding agents. 2 kg of pellets contains as much heating power as 1 ltr of oil. That means, a year's supply of pellets does not require any more space than oil tanks. And just like oil they are fed fully automatically into the combustion chamber where firing is also fully automatic. The pellets are delivered to your home in a tanker. In terms of handling in general, the only real difference from oil heating is the pleasantly fresh forest smell in your boiler room.

With the Sunmachine, reading the meter is fun. Your electricity meter, for example, would simply run backwards if you plugged the Sunmachine into any of the sockets in your house. Then you would not only have your electricity free of charge you would be entitled to a lot more, too: you can sell all the electricity you produce to the grid operators. They are legally bound to buy your high-quality green electricity from pellets at a good price. And to continue doing so for 20 years. You are given an electricity meter that records the number of kilowatt hours you feed into the grid and invoices the grid operator at regular intervals. A high-quality inverter transforms the machine's rotary current into the usual alternating current required in the home. The high quality standard of this newly developed, maintenance-free equipment is designed to match the high life expectancy of the Stirling engine.

The original Sunmachine: the world's most admired Stirling engine. With a span of four metres and the height of a giraffe, it has travelled all over Germany on the back of a truck. It knows the envious looks of the experts, the amazed stares of entire classes of schoolchildren and the justified dollar-signs in the eyes of all those st who have realised that energy is the gold of the 21 century. All over the world a veritable boom has set in for developments based on the Stirling engine. The little brother has won the race. A 20-year lead makes it hard to catch up. The compact Sunmachine 2005 is no bigger than a fridge, but it can produce the thermal output of a modern condensing boiler and 20% more electrical output than its greatly admired big brother. The smaller machine is protected against imitations by a pile of patents. The most ingenious move was to install an upside-down pellet burner. The Sunmachine 2005 really does do justice to its name. Because pellets are pure energy from the sun in concentrated form. The Reverend Robert Stirling would be proud if he could see what has become of his 200-year-old invention: an absolutely uncomplicated household appliance constantly providing its owner with heat, electricity and money. With a state guarantee for the next 20 years. A sensation in itself was and is the calyx-like structure of the parabolic mirror consisting of eight separate leaves. Controlled by an inner clock, the machine always turns towards the sun like a plant. Compared with the giants a dwarf. In terms of output unbeatable. The new Sunmachine 2005
