For further details see accompanying notes. For the prior period ending October 3, 0 the Bank has restated its GHG emissions and GHG intensity (per employee) values to remove transmission and distribution losses included in its Scope emissions to be in accordance with the GHG Protocol. The restatement resulted in a 4% decrease in total GHG emissions and in the GHG intensity (by employee) values for and 0 Scope emissions were not restated as the difference was not material. 3 Additional Footnotes: Scope emissions include direct emissions from heating and cooling, leased aircraft and corporate fleet. Scope emissions include indirect emissions from electricity, heating and cooling. Scope 3 emissions include business travel emissions and energy from sub leased locations.

Additional notes: The paper data that was known and available to management was used in determining the paper use; however, the Bank was not able to substantiate all paper that may have been purchased through alternative suppliers or printers. TD began measuring its non-office paper in 00. Definitions of Paper Paper: TD s paper purchases include statements and envelopes, commercial print, office paper and forms that are purchased through formal material contracts and/or vendors. Office paper copy paper that goes into multi-functional devices for printing and copying purposes. Commercial print paper used for external mass communications and marketing (e.g. annual reports, prospectuses, brochures, posters, start kit/information folders).
