4 QDC Water System Supply Operates 3 gravel packed wells in the Hunt River Aquifer with a pumping capacity of +/- 4.5 MGD Wells Built Wells 9A/14A 1940/1941, Well 3A 1960 Storage Maintains two water storage tanks holding 1,000,000 gallons (combined) Water Towers Built 1998 Distribution Average daily consumption about 700,000 gallons Maintains approximately 34 miles of water distribution piping ranging in sizes from 6 inches to 30inches, servicing 230 connections Maintains 610 water valves Fire Protection Maintains 200 Hydrants throughout the Park 3
