2 Indonesia accounts for 30% of GE Healthcare s business in ASEAN, where we have organized more than 70 healthcare education events through ASEAN Healthcare Learning Institute (AHLI), and have trained more than 2,000 healthcare providers to date. In Thailand, GE has more than 2,500 units of diagnostic imaging medical equipment installed in 600 Thai hospitals such as Siriraj Hospital, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital, Bangkok Khon Kaen Hospital, Bangkok Chiang Mai Hospital, Samitivej Chonburi Hospital and Suranaree University of Technology Hospital since GE Healthcare launched Vscan Access TM ultrasound device to help address unmet healthcare needs in developing regions and expand the reach of care to mothers who need it most. The town of Banna in Ilocos Norte is the first to use this technology in the Philippines, where more than 120 pregnant women were assessed using Vscan Access. In Myanmar, GE has supplied over 2,000 medical devises to 40 public and private hospitals today, treating roughly 500,000 patients every year. GE Aviation GE Aviation is a world-leading provider of commercial, military and business and general aviation jet and turboprop engines and components as well as avionics, electrical power and mechanical systems for aircraft with a global service network to support these offerings. The GE Aviation plant in Singapore is one of its most efficient worldwide, serving more than 25 customers and contributing to over 20% of its global footprint. In 2016, the site celebrated its 35 years of operations in Singapore. In 1997, GE Engine Services Malaysia partnered with Malaysia Airlines to establish a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines. Today, the engine maintenance, repair and overhaul facility serves over 30 airlines throughout Asia. GE has installed over 600 highly efficient jet engines on Garuda Indonesia and Lion Air, which means that every 68 seconds, a plane powered by GE engines takes off from Indonesia, transporting 44 million passengers a year from Soekarno Hatta International airport in Jakarta. GE jet engines such as GE90-100, CFM56-5B and CFM56-5C are installed on aircrafts owned and operated by Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific Air, and Air Asia among other airlines operating in Clark, Pampanga. As of 2014, about 180 GE engines are installed on 75 aircrafts and this means one aircraft equipped with GE technology takes off in every 2 minutes, transporting about 20 million passengers within and outside the Philippines. In May 2016, Vietnam's Vietjet placed a $3-billion order of CFM International s LEAP-1B engine to power 100 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. In 2016, GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft financing and leasing arm of GE, delivered three new leased Boeing aircraft to Myanmar National Airlines (MNA). With the new aircraft, MNA has started to fly internationally again from its main base at Yangon International Airport to Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok. In July 2016, AirAsia announced a $2.7 billion order of 200 CFM LEAP-1A engines to power its 100 new Airbus A320neo. In September of that year, AirAsia became the first Southeast Asian airline to take delivery of the LEAP-1A-powered A320neo. GE Transportation GE Transportation is a global digital industrial leader and supplier to the rail, mining, marine, stationary power and drilling industries. Our solutions help customers deliver goods and services with

3 greater speed and greater savings using our advanced manufacturing techniques, industry expertise and connected machines. GE has been supporting Indonesia s railway since 1953 when Indonesian rail bought its first GE locomotive. To date, over 350 GE locomotives are running in Indonesia, transporting 200 million people annually. Since 1963, the State Railway of Thailand has been connecting Thailand with 88 GE locomotives. To date, 60 locomotives or more than 40% of SRT s fleet are still transporting millions of Thais and tons of freights across adjacent countries like Malaysia. In 2015, GE Transportation marked the 50 th anniversary of GE-K locomotives in Thailand. In 2014, GE was selected by Singapore s Land Transport Authority to supply fully automated driverless train signaling, control and supervision systems for the Thomson and Eastern Region MRT Lines. This was the first order, globally, of the Tempo Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) Solution, a smart solution that helps urban transit operators improve operations and service. This breakthrough win at one of the most demanding mass transit services in the world, putting GE Transportation on the map of transit operators worldwide. GE Oil & Gas GE positions itself as one of the world s leading equipment and services providers in the oil and gas space. With unique capabilities across the entire value chain - from oil and gas drilling equipment and subsea systems, to turbomachinery solutions and downstream processing. Malaysia is GE s global hub for turbomachinery and global services, as well as Asia Pacific headquarters for its Oil & Gas business. In 2012, GE secured a contract with PETRONAS, one of Malaysia s leading players in the oil and gas industry, to provide advanced turbo compression technology for its Liquefied National Gas Train 9 project in Bintulu, Sarawak the first of its kind in the world. GE will also supply gas turbine-driven compressor train technology to PETRONAS for its first floating liquefied natural gas facility being developed off the coast of Malaysia. Work on the facility has started and is scheduled to be completed in the next 5 years (by 2019). The project is an extension of GE's strong collaboration with PETRONAS as a result of a global frame agreement, under which GE was selected to supply a range of gas turbines and compressors for PETRONAS' projects worldwide. In 2013, GE announced the largest expansion of its Batam manufacturing facility in Indonesia to date, with the construction of a high bay for a new line of subsea wellhead equipment that will further increase local content. The production of vertical subsea trees in Batam is a first for GE in Asia Pacific. More than $15 million has been invested for the plant expansion, not only in physical assets and equipment, but also in building local capability through the transfer of knowledge and expertise from our global sites to the Batam team. The expansion created up to 183 new jobs, 90 percent of which are local employees. This investment underscores GE s commitment to increase local content of GE technology and solutions in Indonesia. GE Oil & Gas and PTT Group (Thailand s State Enterprise for oil and gas and petrochemical) have played integral roles in the Thailand oil and gas industry over the past 30 years. With PTT s subsidiary company, PTTEP, GE has installed base of five centrifugal compressors at the two major oil filed arteries in Thailand namely Greater Bongkot North and Greater Bongkot South. The two oil fields are the major oil & gas arteries contributing to Thailand s industries and economies over the last three decades. GE s Industrial internet solution comes to life in Malaysia with the icenter which was established in Kuala Lumpur in It is one of three such centers around the world that

4 monitors hundreds of assets in countries around the world. Through the use of analytics on Big Data, we have been able to alert our customers to issues even before they know about it, help fix the problem where possible or take immediate action to alert our customers to take remedial actions, thus improving operational efficiency and reducing unplanned downtimes, delivering savings to our customers. GE Power GE Power is a world leader in power generation with deep domain expertise to help customers deliver electricity from a wide spectrum of fuel sources. GE Power is transforming the electricity industry with the digital power plant, the world s largest and most efficient gas turbine, full balance of plant, upgrade and service solutions as well as our data-leveraging software. Our innovative technologies and digital offerings help make power more affordable, reliable, accessible and sustainable. GE is a major player in power generation in Indonesia. GE s Gas and Steam turbines, and Aeroderivative Gas Turbines have generated more than 8 GW of electricity, which is equal to over 20% of the total electricity installed base in Indonesia. o In September 2016, the Lombok power project entered commercial operation using GE s power plant on wheels. This is one of eight locations in Indonesia receiving fast power as part of a commitment to bring 500MW to the country. o In 2015, GE signed four infrastructure projects valued at over $1 billion. Three of the projects will be in the power sector and contribute an estimated 3 GW in capacity towards Indonesia s plan to provide more than 35 GW of additional power by The fourth project will provide maintenance services for 50 locomotives in PT Kereta Api Indonesia s (PT KAI) rail fleet. o State electricity company PT PLN inaugurated a 100 MW gas-fired power plant in Gorontalo, Sulawesi Island to address power shortages in Indonesia. The power plant consists of 4 units of GE s TM2500 gas turbines, each with the capacity of 25 MW. o As part of GE s commitment in supporting government local content program in Indonesia, two manufacturing facilities have been established in Jakarta and Surabaya. UNINDO plant in Jakarta is a joint venture between GE and PLN, established back in 1969 with a composition of GE (67.65%) and PT PLN (32.35%), producing High Voltage Transformer and Air Insulated Switchgear equipment. UNINDO covers domestic and international markets for utility and industrials such as PLN, IPP, Pulp & Paper, Mining, Oil & Gas etc. Alstom Power Energy Systems Indonesia (APESI) established in 1986, is a joint venture between GE (86.67%), PT PAL (12.63%), and PT Barata (0.70%). The plant located in Surabaya, East Java, has the capabilities to offer engineering, procurement, project management, manufacturing and services for boilers and HRSGs. APESI has catered domestic and international markets for utility and industries such as PLN, IPP, Mining, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Cement, Industrial Estates etc. In Malaysia, GE s provides about 49% of the total installed base of powergen equipment in the country. o In March 2016, GE announced that Malakoff Corporation Berhad s (Malakoff) 1,000- MW Tanjung Bin Energy Power Plant (T4) has entered commercial operation on schedule. In a contract worth over 1 billion globally, GE s Steam Power Systems, together with its consortium partners Mudajaya and Shin Eversendai, has executed

5 the engineering, procurement and construction agreement for the plant. The ultrasupercritical, coal-fired power plant, which commenced construction in March 2012, was completed on schedule in four years. o Tenaga Nasional Bhd s (TNB) 1,000 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power plant dubbed as Manjung 4 was powered up in April 2015, a joint project that was built by GE and its consortium partner China National Machinery Import and Export Corp. To date, there are more than 100 GE gas turbines in operation across Thailand. In fact, 30% of electricity generated (or 8,000 MW) in the country are from GE s gas turbines. Since 1993, GE has been driving energy solutions to overcome power shortages in Vietnam. o In 2015, GE signed a contract to supply 2 circulating fluidized bed boiler (CFB) to Thang long power plant. These are the largest CFB boilers in Vietnam providing clean coal power to the Vietnam grid. o GE s Power Services business announced the upgrading of GT13E2 MXL2 gas turbine at Phu My Power Plant in Vietnam which marks GE s first services order after acquiring Alstom s Power and Grid businesses. The project is expected to increase the plant s output by 50 MW, helping ease Vietnam s power shortages. In the Philippines, First Gen Corporation has chosen GE s jet engine-based aero derivative gas turbines to power the company s Avion power plant. Avion is the first in the Philippines to utilize GE s LM6000 PC Sprint gas turbines, which have the capability to burn both liquid fuel and natural gas. In Myanmar, GE equipment provides more than 500 MW of power today and will provide an additional 600 MW by Additionally, 95% of all gas-fired power generation is produced by GE gas turbines. GE s cutting-edge Singapore Water Technology Centre was opened in June 2009 and located at the National University of Singapore. At that time, it was the sole piloting facility for Reverse Osmosis and Electro-Dialysis flat-sheet membranes and the only analytical lab with ISO certification globally. The centre continues to play a vital role in the development of new and novel solutions for low-energy desalination, enhanced industrial waste water recovery and efficient water reuse. GE s Asia Pacific Analytical & Membrane Chemicals Technology Laboratory is also located in Singapore. It is the Centre of Excellence for membrane autopsy, resin analytics, UPW analytics and water sustainability analytics. In July 2012, SOMA Group, a leading Cambodian industrial conglomerate, selected GE s Waukesha gas engine technology to power a new rural, rice husk biomass-energy project. The project is Cambodia s first integrated biomass gasification-gas engine solution designed to supply renewable electricity to the local grid in support of the country s rural electrification goals and is the first project to be implemented following GE s 2011 Alternative Energy Development Agreement with Cambodian Government. The SOMA Group project creates a model for similar agricultural biomass waste-to-energy development opportunities in the ASEAN region. GE Renewable Energy GE Renewable has one of the broadest and deepest renewables portfolios in the industry, with one of the world s largest installed bases of renewable power generation with more than 370 GW globally. From single components to turnkey projects, GE is deploying its century worth of experience in renewable power generation to help customers improve the performance of their assets over their entire lifecycle. GE is also leading the digital industrial revolution in renewable energy by utilizing big data and analytics to improve performance and create new value for our customers. With global scale and local capability, GE can deliver for customers anywhere in the world.

6 In Indonesia, GE installed the largest hydro turbine for Jatiluhur hydro power plant in West Java. Meanwhile, GE s Lahendong geothermal power plant in North Sulawesi has been operating for more than 20 years, bringing clean, reliable and sustainable power to the people of North Sulawesi with minimum downtime. In 2015, GE Renewable Energy signed a contract with Khao Kor Wind Power Co., Ltd., (KWP) to supply wind turbines for the Khao Kor wind farm in Petchaboon, Thailand. The 60 MW project is expected to supply power to the northern part of the country, generating enough equivalent energy to power approximately 36,000 Thai households for a year. GE plays a key role in the development of Vietnam s first wind farm in Bac Lieu province, Mekong Delta. GE supplied 62 wind turbines, totaling over 99 MW of power generation capacity. The first phase of this wind farm was connected to the national grid in June o In March 2015, GE was officially chosen as the provider of 14 turbines in Phase I of Tay Nguyen Wind Farm project, located in Dak Lak province. The project will be the largest capacity wind farm in Vietnam with total capacity up to 120 MW, after its three phases are completed in In May 2016, GE signed a MOU with The Ministry of Industry and Trade to accelerate the development of renewable energy in Vietnam. This collaboration aims to develop a minimum of 1,000 MW of new wind farms by 2025, enough to power approximately 1.8 million Vietnamese homes. Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang and U.S. President Barack Obama witnessed the signing ceremony. GE Lighting GE Lighting specializes in lighting solutions around the world, helping advance new technologies such as fluorescents and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that operate with more efficiency, less cost and less environmental impact than ever before. It has credited itself by lighting some of the world s most recognized landmarks and places such as Olympic and World Cup Stadiums, London s Tower and Golden Gate Bridges, among others. In the Philippines, GE Lighting was recognized for its Metro Turf Racetrack Lighting Project by winning a Merit Award in the 2013 GE Edison Award Asia Preliminaries. The Metro Turf Racetrack project is a 45-hectare development in Malvar, Batangas, featuring a modern race facility surrounded by a total of 46 light posts 39 around the oval and seven attached to the grandstand equipped with GE 1500 Powerspot technology for excellent illumination during races especially at night. GE Lighting also lights up Malaysia s MASkargo Advance Cargo Centre (the air freight division of the national carrier, Malaysia Airlines), with its Hi-Beam T5 High Bay system, significantly raising the level of illumination while generating a 50% reduction in energy usage. Switching from 1,470 sets of halide lamps to GE s more energy-efficient solution will result in savings totaling an estimated $300,000 per year compared. 7 The first SF6 Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB) with a capacity of 55 MW in the Philippine s geothermal plant was installed and commissioned for Units 5 and 6, Plant C of Tiwi Geothermal Power Plant. GE Energy Connections partners with Vietnam s national power transmission company, NPT/EVN, for power transmission improvement. Greater emphasis will be placed on upgrading the country s power infrastructure through advanced solutions of GE Grid Solutions, a division under GE Energy Connections, such as the capacitor s fuseless technology which will enable 100% increase in the current capacity of the existing transmission line and installed infrastructure. Since 2013, GE Power Conversion has helped power about 60% of Steam Turbine Generator for Small Power Plant (SPP) projects in Thailand. In particular, the Power Conversion team has supported key customers such as Gulf and Thai Oil to achieve cost savings and energy efficiency with their four-pole generator design. We value partnerships Partner for Innovation GE Aviation Engine Services-Singapore, our aircraft engine component repair facility, celebrated its 35 years of operations in Singapore in February 2016 and announced its plan to invest S$110M in the facility during the next 10 years. The investment will fund several projects, including a Lean Lab for Advanced Manufacturing, an Asian-Pacific Center of Excellence for the repair of current products, an Advanced Technology Center for research and development on new processes and advanced technologies and an Automation & Robotics Center of Excellence. A collaborative partnership agreement was signed in December 2014 with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore s Economic Development Board (EDB) to design, develop and deploy R&D Developments for Smart Grid Technologies. Partner for Talent and Leadership Development For the past years, GE s customers across ASEAN have undergone Crotonville programs such as Leadership for Customers (LFC), Leadership & Innovation Strategy (LIS) and Global Customers Summit (GCS) which cover the development of leadership skills in business, government, and civil society. These programs provide a unique opportunity to share global best practices, and build stronger relationships with their GE partners, and with other business leaders in strategic markets. In 2015, GE announced its plan to up to $1 billion in the power, oil and gas, and healthcare sectors to support Indonesia s accelerated economic growth. This commitment will result in the creation of over 6,000 jobs, technology transfer, training of over 1,000 people a year, and the expansion of local supply chains as GE s business grows. In July 2015, GE signed an MOU with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) to develop capabilities and resources that will help meet Vietnam s increasing energy demand. Under the MOU, GE will assist EVN in developing human resources through a variety of trainings and programs for EVN s senior leaders; and facilitate the development of energy infrastructure by providing technologies and support for power generation equipment. The MOU was signed in the US coinciding with the visit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. In June 2015, GE Healthcare and University Santo Tomas (UST) hosted a medical education conference at the Manila-based hospital, aimed at improving patient care and clinical

8 decision making. The symposium hosted nearly 200 of UST s clinicians, including doctors, nurses and administrative staff. In September 2014, GE and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) signed a MOU on their collaboration to enhance training opportunities and develop highly qualified human resources in the fields of science and technology. We invest in people Employee Training Globally, GE invests $1 billion each year on training and education, making us the world s best company for leaders in GE offers numerous development, training and leadership programs to its employees globally. These opportunities include our Commercial Leadership Program, Financial Management Program, GE Engineering Management Program, internships for undergraduate and graduate students, and technical and soft skill training for businesses personnel. GE Volunteers GE coordinates volunteer efforts company-wide by keeping a close eye on societal needs and inviting all employees to build stronger communities where we live and work. There are about 3,700+ employee volunteers across ASEAN. In 2015, about 30,600+ volunteer hours were served in about 100 projects. Over the years, our volunteer efforts have received the ff. commendations: AmCham CARES Award (2016); People s Association Community Spirit Award (2015); Gold Service Award from the Children's Charities Association (CCA) of Singapore (2015); Indonesia Merapi Relief Water Piping Rehabilitation Project (2011); Indonesia Millennium Development Goal Award (2011); Malaysia Prime Minister s CSR Award (2011); GE Money s Financial Literacy Program (2009); and the U.S. Secretary of State Award for Corporate Excellence for post-tsunami relief programs, educational programs and employee volunteerism (2007). GE Foundation The GE Foundation strengthens communities by providing grants and investment initiatives to address key needs and opportunities. GE helps support ASEAN governments in developing health, the environment, public policy, disaster relief and other challenges facing local communities. One of the many priorities of the foundation is Developing Health Globally (DHG), which is a GE citizenship program to help improve access to quality healthcare of some of the world's most vulnerable populations, with emphasis on maternal and infant care. In Cambodia, GE Foundation has donated over $13.5 million worth of medical equipment and capacity building to upgrade the infrastructure and increase access to healthcare at 31 hospitals in 24 provinces and for other capacity building efforts in the country since In Myanmar, the Foundation has also made a $7 million contribution to support similar initiatives. 9 In the first quarter of 2015, the GE Foundation through GE Volunteers council in the Philippines awarded a $25,000 grant to nature conservation group, Haribon Foundation to help rehabilitate the Philippine Forest. A large part of the money will go to the Rainforest Organizations and Advocates (ROAD) to 2020, an environmental conservation movement of Haribon Foundation to restore one million hectares of Philippine rainforest using native tree species by year In the area of education, the GE Foundation awards scholarship grants for undergraduate students under the GE Scholar-Leader Fellowship. The program is administered in select university students in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. GE also sponsors youth and student competitions as well as advocates policy education and thought leadership through several key programs. Women s Network: At GE, we value a culture of leadership and diversity that drives innovation and productivity. As an affinity group, the Women s Network accelerates the advancement of over 100,000 women employees at GE to cultivate their leadership skills, business practices, personal contacts and career opportunities.
