3 Safety The Measure of our Success The ICE team is particularly proud of our safety record; in October 2015 we achieved 1,750,000 hours without a lost time injury. We also have a TRIFR of 0.0. Achievements of this nature are a statistical demonstration of both the management team and our employees commitment to creating a great safety culture. Our certified systems and procedures underpin the safety culture and through a continual improvement philosophy ICE has ensured that safety is a prime focus. Given the industry sectors and the remote locations we operate in, we are often placed in highly intense site situations with multi-disciplined contractor teams working simultaneously in both brownfield and greenfield environments. With this in mind, the above achievement is even more remarkable. SYSTEMS CERTIFICATION ICE has a certified Integrated Management System which was developed to manage systems and compliance to the following Australian and International standards: Achilles & CM3 AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems OHSAS18001:2007 International Occupational Health and Safety Management System ICE has been issued with the following Certificates: HSEQ STATEMENT Health Safety Environment & Quality is the dual responsibility of the employer (ICE ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION) and employee / sub-contractor to ensure that we all contribute to an incident free workplace. ICE employees are authorised to STOP work if they consider any aspect of their allocated work to be unsafe. Employees will not be expected to recommence that task until the issue has been resolved under agreement of both the employee and their supervisor, such that the task has been risk assessed and is deemed safe to proceed. Registration Certificate Number for its Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Registration Certificate Number for its Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
