2 Salah Al Nowais Managing Director Salah Al Nowais is the owner and Managing Director of MEISCO Energy & Industrial Services Co LLC. He has a rich and diverse experience in the Company for a period of nearly 12 years and has developed a smooth and constructive relationship with executive colleagues, Clients, Principals, Suppliers and individuals. As Managing Director, he is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic goals sets for the organization. He provides general management and manages the day-to-day operations and assures a smooth functioning, efficient organization. His duties encompass handling detailed, complex concepts and problems, balancing multiple tasks simultaneously, and making rapid decisions regarding administrative issues. He also established strong and appropriate dealings with all the clients in the Oil and Gas and Water and Electricity Sector and maintains a productive relationship. He conveys a professional and positive image and attitude regarding the Company and demonstrates commitment to continued professional growth and development. Salah is a professional who is business savvy, committed to positive results, and possesses a sharp business acumen. He strives to maintain a work environment that is motivating and builds team spirit and ensures that the organization recruits, retains and supports quality staff. Salah has successfully organized, designed, planned and promoted the participation of the organization for the ADIPEC Exhibitions for several years. Before entering the Oil & Gas Industry and Trading Sector, he previously worked at ETISALAT from 1998 to 2003, in various capacities, ranging from Marketing,

Also worked as a team-member of the Committee, which handled the launching and implementation plans for the new Corporate Logo and Identity fir the Corporation. Actively participated in the achievement of the Corporate Website of ETISALAT. He has a keen interest in reading, designing, interior designing, history, travelling, philosophy, study of multi-culture and also an enthusiastic interest in sports. Salah holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Speech Communication, from Portland State University, U.S.A.

A leader in oil production, the country is making giant strides in oil-related development projects. Given its enormous crude reserves, (98 billion barrels the fourth largest after Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran) the UAE will continue to produce oil for the next 150 years and with enhanced recovery technology which could actually enable continuing output beyond current estimates. The current economic development plan of Abu Dhabi is to continue expansion of the downstream refining and petrochemical industry to maximize value addition to the Emirate s petroleum reserves. 10 AREAS OF EXPERTISE Supply to the Power and Water Sector MEISCO offers a full range of products and equipment for power generation, water production, transmission and distribution, including those required by power and desalination plants, high- and low-voltage switchgear, transformers, cable joints terminations & insulators, iron & GRP pipes, valves, pumps, control and ancillary equipment. Combined with our reputed partners, MEISCO is able to execute turnkey projects for power and desalination plants, water pipelines, overhead transmission lines, power laying and construction of medium and high voltage substations.
