In order to maintain the working faces dry for coal production this water is pumped out daily in peak monsoon period. Surface Water - IWSS has been taken into consideration to cater the need for Potable water supply for the project. Industrial water demand is being met from mine water. A local change in ground topography will be created due to mining operation such as open pit, dumps of overburden and coal etc. As a result, there would be change in the drainage and surface run off. Life of mine is over and only reclamation work is going on. Existing transport facilities will continue. Dismantling of infrastructure like workshop, office building transmission line etc. will be done after reclamation work. The mine is exhausted as per mine plan. This mine will going to be part of expansion of other project in near future so no demolition or decommissioning will made of existing facilities. As production has been stopped.
