4 WATER BASED CHEMICAL Other AQUA RESIGEN EW Aqua Resigen uses the FFAST technology developed by Bayer to enhance the performance of space sprays when diluted with water. Unlike when conventional space spray formulations are diluted with water, the fine droplets of the Aqua Resigen solution do not quickly evaporate, thereby increasing the chances of the droplets contacting with the adult mosquitoes or flies. As it is diluted in water, Aqua Resigen does not have a visible fog, smell, or leave staining residues. Yet it s effectiveness is just as good as conventional space spray formulations due to the FFAST technology. Thus Aqua Resigen represents a true environmentally-sensitive option for mosquito and fly control. OIL BASED CHEMICAL Other MALATHION TG96 Malathion is an insecticide "organophosphate" effective for mosquito control in Thermal Fogging and ULV SUMITHION L40 Oil Based Organophosphate is a 1-Shot application to kill both adult & larvae of mosquitoes with additional 1% tetramethrin for knockdown effect. It effectively breaking the transmission cycle of infected mosquitoes with acceptable persistency up to 1 month after ULV application for larvae control. OIL BASED & WATER BASED CHEMICAL Other RESIGEN EC Resigen EC is a versatile space spray that can be diluted with oil or water, although we recommend using Aqua Resigen when diluting with water. It can be applied using thermal fogging, misting, or ULV equipment. It contains a synergised synthetic pyrethroid to provide quick knockdown and effective kill of both mosquitoes and flies. The active ingredient has a minimal hazard profile so it is well suited for use in urban environments. Resigen can be used to rapidly bring down the population of adult mosquitoes, which is particularly important when there is a disease outbreak. DELTACIDE Deltacide, a formulation comprising of three chemicals viz., deltamethrin 0.5 per cent w/v, S-bio-allethrin 0.71 per cent w/v and piperonyl butoxide 8.9 per cent w/v is suitable for ULV application. As this combination is found to be effective in preventing resistance development tackling the population, which had already developed resistance and cause immediate mortality, its synergistic effect was tested in Peet Grady chamber, against three species of mosquitoes, viz., Aedes aegypti, Anopheles stephensi and Culex quinquefasciatus. PESGUARD FG161 Indoor thermal fogging application of Pesguard FG 161, a mixture of d- tetramethrin and cyphenothrin, using portable sprayer against vector 4 of 13

Chemical for LARVAE CONTROL Other STARYCIDE SC480 Starycide SC480 is a slow acting insecticide which has its greatest effect on the early juvenile stages of insects. Where quick action is required the use of a knockdown product as tank mix with Starycide SC480 is recommended. Starycide SC480 can be used indoors and outdoors, in commercial and industrial premises, farms, food handling and processing establishments, resturants, offices, store rooms, hospitals, schools, barracks, homes, hotels, ships, market places and warehouses. ABATE 500E ABATE 500E (temephos) is a emulsifiable concentrated containing 500g active ingredient per liter, a powerful larvicide that effectively controls a number of disease-carrying insects including mosquitoes at the larval stage. ABATE is an organophosphate which acts by ingestion or contact, inhibiting an enzyme that is important in the normal functioning of the insects nervous system, resulting in death. By treating stagnant water with ABATE,the mosquito larvae are killed before they become adults capable of reproduction. This prevents new generations of disease-carrying insects from developing,minimizing the spread of the disease. VECTOBAC 12AS VectoBac 12AS may be applied in conventional ground or aerial application equipment with quantities of water sufficient to provide uniform coverage of the target area. The amount of water will depend on weather, spray equipment, and mosquito habitat characteristics. Do not mix more VectoBac 12AS than can be used in a 72-hour period. 6 QUICK BAYT Quick Bayt fly bait granules are highly attractive and fast-acting to houseflies (Musca domestica). Designed for use in a variety of situations, Q-Bayt granules can be used on animal farms, resorts, restaurants, or wherever flies are a problem. Alternatively, the granules can be mixed with water and painted directly onto surfaces. Q-Bayt can be used indoors or outdoors, and as spraying is not involved they can also be used in sensitive environments. Q-Bayt contains an active ingredient that can be useful for insecticide resistance management, and is an important tool for an integrated fly management program. Chemical for COCKROACH CONTROL Insect & Grub Control CRACKDOWN SC Crackdown SC is a water-based concentrate with a good safety profile. It is a truly versatile insecticide that provides excellent residual control of a variety of insect pests. In addition it is effective in on a variety of surfaces, will not damage or stain surfaces, and can be used in a wide range of situations. Crackdown SC contains a highly active light stable pyrethroid for effective kill and good residual effect. It is applied as a coarse spray directly onto surfaces, and can be used both indoors and outdoors. PREMISE COCKROACH BAIT Premise Cockroach Bait is a gel bait that is applied in strategic locations where cockroaches are active. Cockroaches feed on the gel, and die as a result. Premise Cockroach Bait provides a highly effective means of controlling cockroaches without having to spray. Whilst it s action is slower than with sprays, it is highly effective and can continue to be effective on cockroaches that may re-invade from other areas for several weeks. Premise Cockroach Bait typically uses minimal amounts of product as it is applied in small spots to targeted locations only. Hence, it is suitable for use in many situations, but particularly for sensitive areas such as hospitals and food preparation areas. Chemical for MOSQUITO CONTROL Other ICON 2.8EC ICON 2.8EC is an insecticide for control of mosquitoes, flies, ants and cockcroahces. There are few treatment methods to be used. RAT CONTROL Rodent Control RACUMIN PASTE Racumin Paste is a highly palatable formulation that improves effectiveness through it s increased attractiveness to rodents. This means greater consumption and faster control without sacrificing safety in terms of secondary poisoning to pets and wildlife. Racumin Paste contains a multiple-dose anticoagulant active ingredient whereby the rodents need to feed on the bait several times before receiving a lethal dose. The affected rodents die from internal bleeding. The active ingredients in multiple-dose rodenticides like Racumin are metabolised by the rodent as it tales effect, meaning less residues in the rodent and less risk for secondary poisoning.
