4 From early research and prototyping to end product design, manufacturing and customer validation, Onyx has successfully completed all stages needed to develop a cutting edge product in what is a new huge market disruption. Onyx Solar has transformed the most robust and efficient photovoltaic cells adapting them to architectural needs in a holistic and disruptive manner. Its products have been recently validated by IEC and UL as a previous stage to its massive commercialization. In addition its Quality and Environmental Management System has been certified under the ISO 9001 and ISO Standards in December With a plant set up in Spain in 2015 and a new plant set up in China in late 2016 the company has already secured enough production capacity to satisfy the demand so it will be now the priority to start the massive commercialization and marketing development. From PECVD to lamination, its vertically-integrated production lines are fully operative with a production capacity of 200,000 sqm.

10 PHOTOVOLTAIC GLASS FOR BUILDINGS This glass presents identical structural properties to those of conventional glass used in construction. In addition, it generates free and clean energy thanks to the sun. It maximizes the performance of the building s envelope. It is able to completely offset all the energy demand for indoor climatization, and drastically reduces the cost of electricity. It is fully customized in shapes, colours, sizes (up to 8 sqm), thicknesses and semi-transparency degrees. Onyx Solar has also developed the first photovoltaic pavement in the world and the first photovoltaic ventilated façade fully customizable onsite. Yes, customizable on-site!
