This will minimise the possibilities of errors. 2. DELIVERY Delivery time will be 14 days from receipt of orders in the case of material available ex-stock. Where items are out of stock, we will specify supply date immediately upon receipt of order. Supply date is the date material leaves our warehouse as we cannot be held responsible for changes in shipping schedules or shipping delays. 3. PAYMENT Irrevocable Letter of Credit, with partial shipment allowed or payment in advance by telegraphic transfer unless credit arrangements have been approved. Warranty will also not cover consequential damage resulting from any failure in service. Faulty parts will be replaced free of charge, after inspection by our Quality Control Department. 7. ORDERS The customer shall, within fourteen (14) days upon receipt of a completed order, report to Waterco Europe Ltd in writing, all incorrect deliveries. Deliveries shall be assumed to be correct and no adjustment shall be made unless such notice is provided to Waterco Europe Ltd within fourteen (14) days of the date of receipt of the goods. No stock returns will be accepted without prior written agreement from Waterco Europe Limited. A 25% re-stocking fee is payable on any non-warranty returns; such items will not be accepted any later than 3 months after original dispatch date. 8. OWNERSHIP OF GOODS Ownership of the goods in all cases shall be retained by Waterco Europe Ltd until payment is made for such goods and for all goods supplied by Waterco Europe Ltd to the customer and such payment is received in full. In the event that the customer fails to make payment within the due time stipulated by Waterco Europe Ltd, Waterco Europe Ltd shall have the right to enter upon the premises of the customer and to regain possession of the said goods. In the event that such goods are sold by the customer prior to payment thereof, or if they shall become constituents of other goods, then the proceeds of sale thereof shall be the property of Waterco Europe Ltd. 9. This results in a 100% compliance of the end product with the specifications. The design and the manufacturing process of the whole vessel, utilising the latest filament winding machines, incorporation of non metallic fittings plus reinforced manhole openings with proprietary methods, is unique to Waterco. Why fibreglass instead of steel? Using non metallic components fibreglass pressure tanks are rapidly replacing steel tanks in numerous applications. Fibreglass vessels offer several advantages in comparison with steel vessels. Fibreglass vessels have a mechanical and chemical resistance superior to steel. Fibreglass tanks do not rust or corrode and are able to withstand damage from many types of water treatment chemicals. Fibreglass vessels weigh only 1 /3 the weight of steel vessels while maintaining the same level of strength. Their weight makes them easier to ship to the job site and easier to install. Conventional horizontal filter lateral systems consist of straight piping fitted with laterals along the length of the horizontal filter. The beginning of the lateral system experiences a strong flow of water, which gradually decreases along the length of the lateral piping. Backwash flow also decreases towards the end of each lateral, resulting in non-uniform lifting of the filter media bed. Conventional horizontal filter lateral configuration Waterco has vastly improved the hydraulic efficiency of its horizontal filter lateral system by looping its distributors and laterals. The new lateral configuration provides a more natural flow of water through the filter, ensures optimum water filtration and balanced fluidisation of the filter bed during backwashing.
