3 Bowerman Power Facility The City executed a Power Purchase Agreement with Bowerman Power, LLC for the purchase of 19.6 MW of renewable energy generated from landfill gas from the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill in Irvine, California. Location: Irvine, CA Type: Biomethane Term Started: May % 19.6 MW Contract Capacity: 19.6 MW Term: 20 Years Term Ends: April 2036 Continuous 24/7 Transmission is provided by the California Independent System Operator. The 20-year contract expires on April 30, 2036.

4 Brea Power II Location: Brea, CA The City executed a Power Purchase Agreement with Brea Power Partners, LP to deliver landfill gas renewable energy to the Anaheim Public Utilities to help satisfy demand. Type: Biomethane Term Started: November % 27 MW Contract Capacity: 27 MW Term: 33 Years Term Ends: October 2045 Continuous 24/7 The original 5 MW contract was superseded by a second long-term contract for a total of 27 MW from the new unit at the Olinda Landfill project. The 33-year contract expires on October 31, 2045.

5 Heber South Location: Heber, CA The Cities of Anaheim, Banning, Glendale, and Pasadena have contracted with Ormat Technologies, through Southern California Public Power Authority for a share of a 14 MW (net) geothermal project. The renewable energy is delivered to the Imperial Irrigation District s Mirage Interconnection with the California Independent System Operator. Type: Geothermal Term Started: June % 8.4MW Contract Capacity: 14 MW Term: 25 Years Term Ends: December 2031 Continuous 24/7 The contract includes mutual termination rights at years 15 and 20. The 25-year contract expires on December 31, 2031.

6 High Winds Energy Center The City has purchased 6 MW of intermittent renewable wind energy from Avangrid Renewables, LLC (a subsidiary of Iberdrola USA, Inc.). Transmission is provided by the California Independent System Operator. Location: Birdslanding, CA Type: Wind Term Started: August % 6 MW Contract Capacity: 6 MW Term: 25 Years Term Ends: December 2028 Intermittent (Weather Dependent) The contract includes mutual termination rights at year 20 provided notice is given on or before 12/31/2022. The 25-year contract expires on December 31, 2028.

7 MWD Coyote Creek The Cities of Anaheim, Azusa, and Colton have contracted with The Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California, through Southern California Public Power Authority for 17.1 MW of intermittent renewable hydro electricity from four small hydroelectric plants located in the Los Angeles Basin. The City is entitled to 56.5%, or 9.7 MW from all four plants. Location: La Habra, CA Type: Small Hydro Term Started: November % 1.8 MW Contract Capacity: 3.1 MW Term: 15 Years 2 Months Term Ends: December 2023 Intermittent (Subject to Water Availability) Transmission is provided by the California Independent System Operator. The 15 year and 2 month contract expires on December 31, 2023.

8 MWD Perris The Cities of Anaheim, Azusa, and Colton have contracted with The Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California, through Southern California Public Power Authority for 17.1 MW of intermittent renewable hydro electricity from four small hydroelectric plants located in the Los Angeles Basin. The City is entitled to 56.5%, or 9.7 MW from all four plants. Location: Perris, CA Type: Small Hydro Term Started: November % 4.5 MW Contract Capacity: 7.9 MW Term: 15 Years 2 Months Term Ends: December 2023 Intermittent (Subject to Water Availability) Transmission is provided by the California Independent System Operator. The 15 year and 2 month contract expires on December 31, 2023.

9 MWD Rio Hondo The Cities of Anaheim, Azusa, and Colton have contracted with The Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California, through Southern California Public Power Authority for 17.1 MW of intermittent renewable hydro electricity from four small hydroelectric plants located in the Los Angeles Basin. The City is entitled to 56.5%, or 9.7 MW from all four plants. Location: South Gate, CA Type: Small Hydro Term Started: November % 1.1 MW Contract Capacity: 1.9 MW Term: 15 Years 2 Months Term Ends: December 2023 Intermittent (Subject to Water Availability) Transmission is provided by the California Independent System Operator. The 15 year and 2 month contract expires on December 31, 2023.

The City is entitled to 56.5%, or 9.7 MW from all four plants. Location: Yorba Linda, CA Type: Small Hydro Term Started: November % 2.3 MW Contract Capacity: 4.1 MW Term: 15 Years 2 Months Term Ends: December 2023 Intermittent (Subject to Water Availability) Transmission is provided by the California Independent System Operator. The 15 year and 2 month contract expires on December 31, 2023.

11 Pleasant Valley Energy Center The City has purchased 30 MW of intermittent renewable wind energy from Avangrid Renewables, LLC (a subsidiary of Iberdrola USA, Inc.). Energy from the Pleasant Valley Wind Energy Center is delivered through the Northern Transmission System at the Mona interconnection tie into the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power control area. Location: Uinta County, WY Type: Wind Term Started: April % 30 MW Contract Capacity: 30 MW Term: 20 Years Term Ends: June 2025 Intermittent (Weather Dependent) The City receives and pays for energy only when the units are operating. The 20-year contract expires on June 30, 2025.

12 San Gorgonio Wind Farm The City executed a Power Purchase Agreement with San Gorgonio Farms, Inc. for 31 MW of intermittent renewable wind energy from the existing San Gorgonio Farms Wind Farm located in Whitewater, California (near Palm Springs). Transmission is provided by the California Independent System Operator. Location: Whitewater, CA Type: Wind Term Started: December % 31 MW Contract Capacity: 31 MW Term: 10 Years Term Ends: December 2023 Intermittent (Weather Dependent) This agreement has an initial term of ten years ending December 31, 2023, with an option to extend for two additional 10- year periods.

13 Thermo No. 1 The City executed a Power Purchase Agreement with Cyrq Energy subsidiary corporation for energy from an 11 MW geothermal project. The project is located in central Utah and energy is being delivered to Anaheim over the Northern Transmission System at the Mona interconnection tie in the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power control area. Additional transmission costs are required to get delivery from Thermo No. 1 to the Mona interconnection point. Location: Milford, UT Type: Geothermal Term Started: September % 11 MW Contract Capacity: 11 MW Term: 20 Years Term Ends: September 2033 Continuous 24/7 This 20-year agreement expires on September 30, 2033.

14 Westside Solar WSP PV1 The City executed a Power Purchase Agreement with Westside Assets, LLC for the purchase of 2 MW of renewable intermittent solar energy. This project is located in Kings County, California. Transmission is provided by the California Independent System Operator. This 25-year contract expires on June 30, Location: Lemoore, CA Type: Solar Term Started: May % 2 MW Contract Capacity: 2 MW Term: 25 Years Term Ends: June 2041 Intermittent (Weather Dependent)

15 Anaheim Peaking Plant (KPP) The City owns 100% of the Anaheim (Kraemer) Peaking Plant (KPP), a 48 MW natural gas-fired, combustion turbine conventional electric generating plant located in the northeast part of the City, adjacent to the City s Dowling Substation. There is also a heat recovery steam generator for emissions control and power augmentation. Location: Anaheim, CA Type: Natural Gas Term Started: April % 48 MW Contract Capacity: 48 MW Useful Life: 30 Years Peak Use Since 2000, the operations of the Anaheim Peaking Plant have increased as the California energy market has been redesigned. KPP is now dispatched when its generation costs are less than the cost to serve Anaheim s load.

16 Canyon Power Project (CPP) The City entered into a Power Sales Agreement with Southern California Public Power Authority for all of the capacity and energy from the Canyon Power Project (CPP). The CPP is a conventional simple cycle, natural gasfired peaking facility comprised of four combustion turbine generators located in the Canyon industrial area of Anaheim. Location: Anaheim, CA Type: Natural Gas Term Started: October % 200 MW Contract Capacity: 200 MW Useful Life: 30 Years Peak Use CPP is dispatched when its generation costs are less than the cost to serve Anaheim s load.

17 Hoover Dam The Boulder Canyon Project (Hoover Dam) consists of 17 hydroelectric generating units located approximately 25 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada. Fortysix (46) participants within the states of Arizona, California and Nevada participate in the Hoover Dam project. Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA) members have obtained entitlements totaling 665 MW (32% of the Plant Capacity, of which Anaheim has %) through Power Sales Agreements with SCPPA. Location: Near Boulder City, NV Type: Large Hydro New Term Starts: October % 40 MW Contract Capacity: 40 MW Term: 50 Years Term Ends: September 2067 Peak Use (Subject to Water Availability) A new Electric Service Contract commences upon expiration of the existing Agreement on October 31, 2017, which expires on September 30, 2067.

18 Intermountain Power Plant (IPP) The City executed a Power Sales Agreement with Intermountain Power Agency for electric capacity and baseload energy from an 1,800 MW conventional coal project located in central Utah. Thirty-six utilities serving California and Utah receive capacity and energy from this project. Energy is delivered to Anaheim and other California participants through the Southern Transmission System to the Victorville/Lugo interconnection with the California Independent System Operator. Location: Delta, UT Type: Coal Term Started: May % 236 MW Contract Capacity: 236 MW Term: 40 Years Term Ends: June 2027 Continuous 24/7 The 40-year contract expires on June 15, 2027.

19 Magnolia Power Project (MPP) The Magnolia Power Project (MPP) is a clean, natural gas-fired, combined cycle conventional electric generating plant located in Burbank, California. MPP is owned by Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA) and is operated by Burbank Water & Power. Location: Burbank, CA Type: Natural Gas Term Started: September % 118 MW Contract Capacity: 310 MW Term: 32 Years Term Ends: June 2037 Continuous 24/7 The City has acquired a 38% (92 MW base capacity and 26 MW of peaking capacity) entitlement in the project through a Power Sales Agreement with SCPPA.

20 San Juan Generating Station The City has a 10.04% undivided ownership interest in Unit 4 of the San Juan Generating Station, located in San Juan County in northwestern New Mexico. San Juan is a four-unit conventional coal-fired steam electric generating plant. Unit 4 was constructed and is operated by Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM). Location: Farmington, NM Type: Coal Term Started: April % 50 MW Contract Capacity: 50 MW Term: Anaheim Owned Term Ends: December 31, 2017 Continuous 24/7 The City and PNM entered into a Purchase and Participation Agreement that allowed the City to purchase its 50 MW share of the 507 MW generating plant to satisfy its base load demand. The City plans to divest from this facility on December 31, 2017.
