4 Advanced PSA technology for medical oxygen production Oxyplus Technologies oxygen generators are based on a patented implementation of the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) process, a static separation of air gases thanks to a specific molecular sieve that adsorbs nitrogen under pressure. The oxygen generator is mainly composed of two separation vessels filled with molecular sieve adsorbers called zeolites. As compressed air pressurizes one vessel, the nitrogen is progressively retained by the molecular sieve and the oxygen goes straight to the outlet of the generator. Oxygen DS-PSA Technology Result of years of R&D effort and investment from Oxyplus Technologies, the DS-PSA technology is taking PSA to the next level. This exclusive know-how from Oxyplus is based on a double stage PSA process : with 2 molecular separation stages, DS-PSA removes nitrogen, argon, and any trace of pollutants remaining after the first stage, making it possible to reach up to 99,5% oxygen concentration, with an exceptional stability. The high efficiency Oxyplus synthetic crystal zeolites offer unique adsorption and purification properties which are key to high purity oxygen and ensure the longest service life. Sterile medical grade oxygen filtration With an absolute filtration rating < 0.01 µm and a bacterial retention greater than 107 CFU/cm 2, the final sterile filtering cartridge has been especially designed for medical oxygen filtration. The element is housed in a stainless steel filter and ensures that the oxygen delivered to the hospital does not contain any particle or bacteria. Medical compliant working pressure Oxyplus Technologies oxygen generators directly produce oxygen at the required working pressure of the medical gas piping system of the hospital, between 4.5 and 6 bar (65 to 87 psi). This ensures that the oxygen pressure in the operating room, ICU or patient room is constantly above 4 bar (58 psi), according to international standards requirements. 10 bar working pressure is available on all generators upon request for hospitals equipped with a double stage medical gas network. 6 Oxygen Generators

7 ators 95% 96 to 99,5% High efficiency oxygen generator with advanced control features Next Generation PSA oxygen generator, featuring the DS-PSA and OCS technologies for an ultra high and stable oxygen concentration Medical grade hard piping All oxygen piping of our oxygen generators are made of specifically chosen hard materials such as degreased medical grade copper pipes, to guarantee the production of medical grade oxygen, free of any trace of contaminant. All components and parts in contact with oxygen pass through a quality control process which ensures oxygen compatibility and a high degree of cleanliness. Recording capacities A SD Card drive is installed on Premium Plus and Premium oxygen generators in order to continuously record the oxygen production parameters (pressure, purity, etc.) ensuring a full historical traceability and quality control. Data are stored in Excel files. Quality monitoring Oxyplus Technologies oxygen generators are supplied with an oxygen analyzer which ensures that the oxygen produced is compliant with the local or international regulations. This analyzer can be completed with a Pharmagas device, featuring a whole set of gas analyzers to monitor CO/CO2, oxygen dew point, NO/NO2 and SO2. Oxygen Generators 7

9 ModulO2 is an all-included oxygen generator based on the PSA technology. Ready to be connected to power supply and functioning with ON/OFF switch on a fully automatic mode, this on-site production system is particularly easy to operate and an ideal alternative to oxygen cylinders. It can be connected directly to an anesthesia machine or a recovery ventilator through an oxygen outlet onto the front panel, or used as main oxygen supply for healthcare facilities with a small piping network. ModulO2 is also appropriate to provide medical oxygen to several patients under oxygenotherapy. Designed for hospitals with surgical activities and intensive care units, they produce a high and stable medical oxygen quality at 95% ±1%. Stainless steel architecture To ensure the highest durability and reliability of the oxygen generator components, we extensively use stainless steel to manufacture our pneumatic manifolds. 6 High definition colour touch screen Secured ergonomic cabinet Duplex air inlet filtration Oxyplus Technologies molecular sieve is protected from dust and oil particles coming from the compressed air by a duplex air inlet micronic and submicronic filtration. All particles and oil vapour up to 0.01 µm are retained, and the filters are drained by an automatic drain valve. 13 Premium oxygen generators are based on the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) process. Oxyplus Technologies R&D has optimized the process to obtain an oxygen concentration of 95%, particularly stable (±1%) and exceeding the highest quality standards. VisiO2 Intelligent control panel : VISIO2 is an advanced control device which automatically manages and monitors the oxygen generator operation. It features a HD color touch screen where are displayed and controlled the production parameters. It provides real time curve drawing, alarms management and archiving, remote alarm transfer and automatic permutation for installations including two oxygen generators. With its recording capacities, VISIO2 provides healthcare facilities a complete traceability and continuous quality control of the oxygen produced. Process control panel In addition to the VISIO2 Control, the lateral process control panel gives access to a direct reading of the main pressure parameters of the oxygen generating process, along with an innovative calibration system which guarantees the accuracy of the oxygen purity measurement. Energy saving The high efficiency of Oxyplus molecular sieve and our continuous R&D improvement lead to the lowest energy consumption ever met. In addition, VISIO2 control proposes an energy saving working mode which can lead to up to 50% energy savings compared to traditional PSA systems. 15 CPU automatic control panel : Orlane oxygen generators are automatically managed by the CPU control panel : based on a PLC system, it includes a logic controller, a digital screen and an ergonomic control panel. Key information such as the oxygen concentration, the hour meter or alarm reports are displayed on the CPU screen. Very simple to use, it is available in several languages.
