6 Game-changing FCH awareness in Midlands Leadership: Promote FCH regionally, engage globally Industry led initiative, focus on Midlands economic growth via investment Collaborative network, building on existing conference, linking active/interested individuals Birmingham is a growing city transforming infrastructure - FCH technology is one option Showcase local FCH technology via: Increase number of annual events, 2 + conference Voice FCH interests into Midlands industrial strategy, Midlands Engine, Energy Capital, HS2, UK Catapults, etc Coordinate with other regional, national and international organisations, e.g. Finance event in London, manufacturing event in Midlands, oil and gas event in Scotland, connect to Brussels and overseas (e.g. China) Encourage diversity in networks, recognise innovation as creativity, cluster talent Resources required: Admin staff time to build website, direct enquiries and coordinate portable exhibition Regional facilities for meetings already promised: (e.g. BCC, regional universities)
