5 Services vertical group The services vertical group of Abeinsa has great experience in: Engineering Abeinsa s services cover the whole value chain of engineering projects: conceptual, basic and detailed. This area has outstanding capabilities and experience in: power plants, water treatment plants, power transmission systems, industrial plants, steel structures, electrical and electronic systems, and telecommunications. Commercialization To help its customers with the management of large volumes of purchases related to engineering and construction projects, Abeinsa offers provisioning, warehouse management and logistics services. Manufacturing Abeinsa s capabilities in this field are focused on the manufacturing of: Steel structures, mainly for large electrical transmission systems and solar plants. Electrical and electronic equipment such as: low and medium voltage electrical cabinets, modular electrical rooms and motor control centers, among others. Operation and maintenance (O&M) Abeinsa holds capabilities and proven experience in operation and maintenance of power generation plants, water treatment plants, hydraulic infrastructure, waste treatment and incineration plants as well as telecommunications infrastructure, among others. 5

6 Engineering Capabilities Products and services The engineering area of Abeinsa has outstanding skills and experience in: Power generation plants: thermosolar and PV power plants, wind farms, combined cycle, cogeneration, etc. Hydraulic infrastructure: desalination plants, water and waste water plants, water transport and distribution. Major transmission systems: electrical power lines (including AC and DC) and substations. Resources The engineering area of Abeinsa has permanent establishments in six countries (Spain, United States, Mexico, India, Chile and Poland) and experience in international projects in over 15 countries. Furthermore, the possibility of benefiting from the current infrastructure of Abengoa (with activities in over 80 countries), provides the engineering area with knowledge of local markets together with agility for the development of new projects in new geographies. The engineering area employs over 600 people. In other words, it has the resources to offer 900,000 man hour of engineering yearly, providing its customers with top quality solutions. 8 Manufacturing Capabilities Steel structures The manufacturing area of Abeinsa has over 40 years of experience in the manufacture of galvanized steel structures. This area employs over 900 people and owns manufacturing facilities with a production surface of more than 140,000 square meters in three strategic locations: Seville, Spain. Querétaro, Mexico. Vadodara, India. Abeinsa produces over 150,000 tons of steel yearly, mainly for the following kind of assets: Towers for electrical power lines. Structures for electrical substations. Telecommunications towers. Structures for parabolic trough solar collectors. Furthermore, Abeinsa has a test center in its facilities in Seville for testing towers up to 72 meters high. There it can test steel structures manufactured by and for itself or by and for third parties applying loads simultaneously in three directions. With over 16 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of thermal and electrical power plants, hydraulic infrastructure and waste treatment plants, Abeinsa ensures a safe, reliable, efficient, profitable and sustainable operations for the assets it operates.
