12 Economic Benefits to Carbon County $30-45 million dollars in local sales and use taxes during two years of construction $6-7 million dollars in annually property taxes, beginning in 2021 (reducing annually over time) $2.4-$2.7 million dollars in annual Wyoming Wind Excise Taxes A total of approximately $245 million dollars in total taxes to Carbon County and Wyoming, much of which will stay in the County, over a 30-year project life An average of approximately 480 construction jobs, and full-time permanent positions during operations $3-5 million in annual landowner payments, increasing over time An estimated $50-70 million will be injected into the Carbon County economy over the construction period in addition to direct construction expenditures
