2 Work Experience Lecturer (Thermo fluids division) Stellenbosch University (South Africa) Since October 2014 Thermodynamics A214, Fluids Mechanics 244 and Introduction to Mechanical and mechatronic Engineering 152 These subjects introduce and cover the most of industrial applications of thermodynamic such in Power Generation, Turbojets, Automotive and transportation, Internal Combustion Engines, heat transfer and heat exchangers, Refrigeration and air conditioning, Ice making machines, design and identify pipe losses, pumps and system matching, fans Research and design projects supervision: - Heat/cold storage modelling of existing operating systems of a large (macadamia) dehydrations systems operating in the Mpumalanga Lowveld (South Africa) that employ solar gain and storage methods that have never been mathematically modelled. A correct mathematical model is being developed for energy efficiency of the existing systems. - Power generation related projects, heat exchangers design and development, hybrid (dry/wet) cooling systems optimization, refrigeration and air-conditioning (HVAC) Part-time Lecturer Cape Peninsula University of Technology CPUT July 2012 Dec 2016 Refrigeration and Air-conditioning: This subject covers heat transfer and heat exchangers calculations, refrigeration systems design and calculations, refrigeration systems components, psychrometry and its applications in airconditioning, heat load evaluation and its application to buildings. Applied Thermodynamics III This subject covers the most of industrial applications of thermodynamic such in Power Generation, Turbojets, Automotive and transportation, Internal Combustion Engines, heat transfer and heat exchangers, Refrigeration and air conditioning, Ice making machines, Strength of Materials III This subject covers the most of principal applied in determining the shear stresses, bending moments, strain, deflection of beams and deflection of struts for buckling for mechanical structures

I was in charge of water excavation form the open pit and roads maintenance (over 30 km long) around (gravel roads) and within the company yard. Although both aspects were performed simultaneously, roads maintenance was intense during the dry seasons, while the water excavation was huge during the rainy seasons. Pumping system designed including pumps and pipes selection and installation. At this level of management, I was in charge of three (3) teams of fifteen (15) each working in shifts operating 24/7. On top of the above, I had to perform admin tasks related to my teams contractual duties and their rights. Dewatering Supervispor Mutanda Mining Ltd, D.R.Congo Sept 2007 Feb 2009 Managing a team of 15 workers where I was the maintenance engineer. I was in charge of an open pit water excavation supervision and roads maintenance planning and execution. I was also part of pumping systems design, installation and maintenance team at the water collection point. Water excavation was generally performed while it is raining to ensure that soon after the rain, production could continue. I was in a charge of the preventive maintenance of pumps. I had to perform admin duties related to my team members contractual duties, leaves approvals and reporting to the mining manager.
