HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION No ingredients present at levels leading to a classification of hazardous under the Chemicals (Hazard Information & Packaging) Regulations (CHIP). Symptoms relating to use: Inhalation: Overexposure may cause burning sensation, sore throat, cough and headache Skin Contact: Repeated or prolonged skin contact may cause irritation progressing to a burn Eye contact: Slight eye irritant Ingestion: Health hazard if ingested in large quantities: breathing difficulties, drowsiness. May cause irritation of the linings of the mouth, throat and gastrointestinal tract 3. COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS Description Herbicide containing 70 g/l MCPA, 70g/l 2,4-D, 42g/l Mecoprop-P and 20g/l Dicamba acid equivalent under DMA salt as a soluble concentrate Hazardous Ingredients This product contains ingredients, substances, mixtures, impurities or stabilizing additives required to be declared under Article 18(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. Move person to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Keep patient warm and at rest. Seek medical advice. Take off all contaminated clothing. Wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by warm water rinse If skin irritation persists call a physician. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses and continue flushing. Seek medical attention if pain, blinking, tears or redness persist. Rinse mouth with water if the person is conscious Do NOT induce vomiting. 3 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Suitable Extinguishing Media: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Specific Hazards Arising From the Substance Or Mixture: The product is not flammable As the product contains combustible organic components, fire will produce dense black smoke containing hazardous products of combustion (HCl, Cl 2, CO, CO 2, NO x ). Exposure to decomposition products may be a hazard to health Special Protective Equipment for Fire Fighters: Wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus. Further Information: Standard procedure for chemical fires. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses. Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment and Emergency Procedures: Wear personal respiratory and eye protective equipment; refer to protective measures listed in sections 8. Environmental Precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Methods and Materials For Containment And Cleaning Up: Contain Spillage, and then collect with non-combustible absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder). HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling: Wear personal protective equipment (see Section 8) Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eat, drink or smoke and when leaving work Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures Do not breathe spray Storage: Store in original container. Keep away from naked lights Keep containers closed tightly in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Store above 0 o C, protect from frost Keep out of reach of children Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs Specific End Uses: Use only as herbicide according to the instruction on the label 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION Protective Measures: Respiratory Protection: Hand Protection: Eye Protection: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required when used with adequate ventilation PVC or nitrile-rubber gloves. Safety glasses or goggles Skin and Body Protection: Lightweight protective clothing appropriate to the conditions of use Hygiene Measures: Remove and wash contaminated clothing and gloves, including the inside, before re-use Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS Product: Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemical or used container. Do not dispose of waste into sewer.
