Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention immediately if victim feels unwell. No specific antidote. Medical staff must contact Poison Control Center. SECTION 5 Fire Fighting Measures Flammability of the product Hazardous combustion product Extinguishing media Suitable Not suitable Special exposure hazards Special protective equipment for fire-fighters Non-flammable. When heated to decomposition, this product may emit toxic fumes of sulphur oxides. Use an extinguishing agent suitable for the surrounding fire. None known No specific hazard Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode. SECTION 6 Accidental Release Measures Personal precautions Environmental precautions Methods for cleaning up Wear appropriate protective equipment (see Section 8) Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers. For small spills, add absorbent material (e.g. sand, vermiculite, soil may be used in the absent of other suitable materials), transfer spilled material to a sealable and appropriate container for disposal. For large spills, dike spilled material or otherwise contain material to ensure runoff does not reach a waterway. Place spilled material in an appropriate container for disposal. SECTION 7 Handling and Storage Handling Storage Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Keep in the original container. SECTION 8 Exposure Control / Personal Protection Consult local authorities for acceptable exposure limits. Engineering measures Good general ventilation should be sufficient to control airborne levels. If user operations generate dust, fumes, vapor or mist, use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep worker exposure to airborne contaminants below any recommended or statutory limits. 2
