5 Supporters of this Application Applicants are required to have their application supported by a Chartered Engineer and an Associate Engineer, or two Chartered Engineers, familiar with all or part of the applicant s work and his/her engineering practice and ability. Each supporter is expected to read the candidate s Engineering Practice Report prior to signing this Application Form on Page 1. In exceptional circumstances, Engineers Ireland will consider alternative arrangements, where, because of the nature of an applicant s employment, he/she cannot provide supporters who are Chartered Engineers or Associate Engineers. In such cases, the applicant should make an application to Engineers Ireland at least one month before submitting this Form and the Engineering Practice Report.
