3 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This project is for Quarrying of Brick Earth (Mining of Minor Minerals other than granite) in S.F.s.275/1A4, 275/1A6, 275/1A16, 275/1A26 and 275/1A11 of Natham Group Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District over an area of Hectares by R.Rajeshkanna. The mine application was meritoriously processed and the District Collector, Ramanthapuram passed an order vide Letter. 159/G&M.1/2016 dated to prepare a Mining Plan and obtain Environment clearance from the state level Environment Impact Assessment Authority. The Mining Plan submitted by the Applicant was approved by Deputy Director, Ramanathapuram dated vide Letter. 159/G&M.1/2016 asking the applicant to seek EC from SEIAA. The excavated mineral Brick earth is proposed to be utilized for the manufacturing of Bricks in applicant's own country brick unit. Proponent R.Rajeshkanna has applied for Environmental Clearance for the proposed quarrying of brick earth from an extent of Hectares in Natham Group Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.
