5 Leverage & Monetize Dynamic Opportunities in Asia s Biomass Markets North Asia has undoubtedly become the darling of biomass producers around the world, with soaring import demand that is yet to be satisfactorily fulfilled. Korean wood pellet imports hit over 1 million metric tons in 2014, almost quadruple that of the previous year, according to Platts. With the country s newly-eased restrictions on non-woody biomass imports, it is an exciting time for regional biomass markets. IBC Asia s inaugural Biomass Feedstock & Technology conference is THE essential event for power and utility executives, biomass producers and global technology firms to discuss feedstock security and sustainability, innovations in biomass firing and optimizing the supply chain for greater regional market growth. Why You Should Attend: Asia-focused forum for biomass industry stakeholders 3 days of high-quality discussions, case studies & workshops on the latest biomass investment opportunities in Asia 15+ expert industry speakers 5+ dedicated pelletization & firing technology sessions Extensive buyer & seller networking opportunities SOUTH KOREA: Latest biomass developments & demand profile CHINA: Will domestic production meet China s demand?
