The system sits under and is plumbed into the laundry trough. The water from the washing machine flows into the trough and the system by gravity. It goes through a bag filter, in order to clear the solid particals from the grey water. As the first 20 litres is collected, the submersible pump in the tank is activated through an electro-mechanical probe. The water in the system is then pumped for irrigation.
