20 Lifetime Analysis In this mde, PV system degradatin is (crrectly) applied t the DC utput f the PV mdules, and s can be used t assess inverter clipping levels as the system effective sizing rati changes in time. DC pwer AC pwer (30 years) When the system is new, much mre DC pwer is generated than inverter capacity, resulting in significant clipping. As the mdules degrade and prduce less pwer, clipping is reduced in the later years f the system 24
