3 Three Conditions to Lift the Evacuation Orders 1. The cumulative dose estimated from the air dose rate is no more than 20mSv per year 2. Situations before the evacuation order is lifted Almost all infrastructures as well as living-related and personal services have been restored Decontamination operations for children s living environments and other areas have progressed satisfactorily 3. Satisfactory discussions have been completed among the prefectural and municipal governments and residents 2

11 Reviving and Reconstructing Fukushima 10 Hometown Fukushima Revival Project For former residents who evacuated from their homes because of the nuclear accident caused by the earthquake, efforts have been made to construct housing, to provide support for their new life, to provide health support, and to promote acquaintance among residents. Train and Strengthen Professional Human Resources Who are Devoted to Specific Regions 〇 Dispatch professionals based on agreements between universities and municipal governments 〇 Train human resources for risk communication at Fukushima Medical University 4. Improve Risk Communication through Consultants Who Closely Support Residents 〇 Deploy consultants (public health nurses, registered nurses, childcare workers) closely supporting residents who have decided to return home 〇 Establish centers to support consultants activities (information network buildup for professionals, etc.) (Basic Information) (Agreement between Nagasaki University and Kawauchi Village)
