Product lines include limestone sand, aggregate and calcium carbonate powders. Kilwaughter quarry produces the much sought after Co. Antrim white limestone used in the construction and agricultural industries throughout Ireland. 6 G-Lime G-Lime granulated lime is a unique fast acting soil conditioner, specially formulated to help manage soil ph. Packaging and Delivery All products are available delivered or via ex-works collection. 25kg sack, 500kg Quad, 600kg top lift, bulk tipper (28 tonne load). G-Lime will help to neutralise acidic soils and replenishes the nutrients that rainfall reduces. It can be spread using a conventional fertiliser spreader, will act quickly and lower application rates. It is the only granulated lime produced in Ireland and is a registered trademark of Kilwaughter Chemical Co Ltd. G-Lime application rates will vary and are dependant on the type of soil, the current ph level, the crop, whether arable or grass and the time of year. A soil analysis should be conducted to ascertain what application rate is appropriate. Arable crops in general need a higher application rate than grass. TYPICAL ANALYSIS Calcium, Ca % (CaO 54.3%) Minimum TNV = 97% CaCO3 It provides farmers with a quick, easy, clean and convenient way of applying lime to grassland and crops, using a conventional spreader. G -Lime is made up of superfine (under 125 micron) lime, the part that reacts quickest in the soil. G-Lime reacts in the soil quickly so it is ideal for top dressing. A typical 100 kg application per acre on grass will improve soil conditions and increase nutrient up-take. 7 Bedding Lime The Bedding Lime product ranges provide a selection of materials for use in livestock stalls. Packaging and Delivery All products are available delivered or via ex-works collection. 20kg sack, 1 tonne sack, bulk tipper (28 tonne load),. MASTERCAL MasterCAL is for use in livestock stalls has been specially formulated to provide high levels of protection against bacteria. The blend of high-calcium limestone and hydrated lime will inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, will aid the prevention of environmental mastitis whilst raising the PH value of farm effluents. Regular use will keep cows cleaner and drier, allowing drainage away from the animal. Keeping livestock cleaner & drier CUBICAL CubiCAL is a unique product designed for dairy and beef livestock bedding applications. The granules of highcalcium limestone will inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria present in livestock cubicles, and can aid prevention of environmental mastitis whilst raising the PH value of farm effluents. With regular manure and feed removal, CubiCAL can help keep cows cleaner and drier, allowing drainage of urine away from the animal.
