3 CONTENTS GENTEC COMPANY GENTEC provides flexible solutions for the projection, delivery, operation and maintenance of combined power, heat and cold units. We manufacture our own cogeneration and trigeneration units in the range from 30 to kwe, particularly with engines and gensets from the companies MAN, MTU, and MWM. We are a determined and quali fied team offering comprehensive services leading to real savings. We are a Czech manufacture of cogeneration, micro-cogeneration and trigeneration units for natural gas, biogas, and other fuels. The company s management, development centre and manufacture are based in Brno, a major centre for science, research and innovative technologies. We place the highest importance on innovations and continuous improvements of our products and services. In the development and manufacture of cogeneration units, we place emphasis on flexibility and functionality of the structural design. Fair conduct and partnership approach are of the same importance for us. 4 OUR SOLUTIONS We place the highest importance on innovations and continuous improvements of our products and services. In the development and manufacturing of cogeneration units, we place emphasis on the flexibility and functionality of the structural design. Take a look on what is the added value of our solutions, by which we differ from the others. COMPACT DIMENSIONS allow installing units in areas which do not offer much space. ECO At the present time ecological solutions are required - our eco models show very low emissions and they can be installed, for example, in historical urban centres. SWITCHBOARD Supplied also outside the cogeneration unit. It can then be located on the wall or anywhere in the boiler room. This helps particularly when there is a lack of space in heating room for installation or moving the unit in. HOOD / CONTAINER They are available also in the silence version, which allows meeting stringent requirements for noise parameters. GENERATORS Leroy-Sommer generators are excellent with their quality and reliability. They are considered top-class products in the field of cogeneration units. ENGINES We use MAN, MTU and MWM engines which rank, with their efficiency and reliability, among the best technologies available on the market. EXHAUST EXCHANGER is developed for us and supplied by the renowned German company Aprovis. 3-4

5 GENTEC COGENERATION Thanks to the wide power range of our products we can meet the needs of most of our customers. We divide the power ranges to three basic categories and in the development of each of them we focus on specific elements to maximize the benefits for our clients. All units are available in frame, hood or container versions. Natural gas, biogas or other special gases can be used as the fuel. MICRO-COGENERATION UNITS COGENERATION UNITS - POWER OUTPUT kwe COGENERATION UNITS - POWER OUTPUT OVER 529 kwe Our micro-cogeneration units with the power output of 30 kwe have a unique construction of two separated inside chambers increasing the total efficiency of the unit. For these units, German engines D.G.E. are used. It is the power range designed for the widest group of customers. The reliable technology is based on MAN engines and LSA generators. High efficiency, compact dimensions and solution flexibility all of this is the advantage of our cogeneration units in this power range. We use the highest quality technologies also for building of these power outputs. Customers can choose between gensets of two manufacturers - MTU and MWM. The electrical efficiency of these units is at the level of up to 43%. 5-6

11 BIOGAS When using biogas, we supply units with engines specially adapted to this fuel. They differ in a details and modification of various components, as well as with a different setting of the control software to achieve the maximum reliability. Also, we continuously develop our after-sale customer service such as the quality of all the services provided, including dispatching system. We will be pleased to work together with you on your projects and to convince you on the quality of our products and services. 1 2 CONSULTATION SERVICE PROJECTION At our first meeting we will get familiar with the customer s requirements and the project specifics, we will explain important information on cogeneration and its use, and will let the customer fill in a questionnaire about their energy system. In a few days, we will provide the customer with a preliminary opinion on whether installing a cogeneration unit would be suitable in their case and what savings it would bring. On the basis of an energy audit, we will give the customer a project design and its price and business conditions. If necessary, we can arrange creating a design documentation and complete project engineering up to the building permit phase, if it is required. 3 PRODUCTION & DELIVERY We aim to fulfil a customer order in the earliest possible time. We have the best conditions in our manufacturing area and our emphasis on quality and functionality is reflected in production process of each unit. 4 INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING We provide turnkey deliveries. At the customer s request, we perform the complete installation of a cogeneration unit and connected equipment to hand over a functional unit to the customer. 5 SERVICE & OPERATION The services we offer include the operation of the cogeneration unit and the entire energy system of the customer. 22 ABOUT COGENERATION PROJEKTY WHAT DOES NA KLÍČ COGENERATION MEAN? Cogeneration is a highly efficient, decentralized production of heat and electricity. When electricity is produced, heat is created at the same time in the cogeneration unit. The produced electric and thermal energies are efficiently used in cogeneration and thus a saving is created compared to common sources. The combined production efficiently uses fuel energy with the minimum losses and, in addition, with a very low emission level. COGENERATION PROVIDES DECENTRALIZED PRODUCTION Cogeneration units produce electricity and heat directly in the place of consumption with no energy losses caused by transmission an distribution.. The operators can use the produced electricity for their own need, to supply it to the grid or to sell it to contracting customers. In case of a blackout, the cogeneration unit can be used as a standby power unit.
