The RH heat pumps from Carrier have a itegrated hydroic module, with pump ad expasio tak, limitig the istallatio to simple operatios like coectio of the power supply ad the water supply ad retur pipig. A electroic, microprocessor-based auto-adaptive cotrol system esures itelliget cotrol of the compressor startup sequece, permittig operatio at low system water volumes. Features Refrigerat R-4A is a bled of R-32 ad R-125, esures superior performaces to those achieved with R-22 ad offers a ecoomical solutio to evirometal protectio problems. It has o effect o the ozoe layer ad ca be used as a replacemet for R-22 i air coditioig applicatios with small ad medium capacities. The compoets of these uits are specifically desiged for R-4A refrigerat, ad all uits have bee submitted to the ecessary laboratory tests to esure perfect operatio. The uit icorporates oe or two two-speed axial fas with horizotal air discharge. The advaced desig allows exceptioally low-oise operatio. At part load coditios or at low outdoor temperatures the fa speed is automati- cally reduced by %, for eve quieter operatio. The cotrol system also permits programmig operatio at reduced speed for a preset time period. The compact dimesios ad reduced weight of these uits facilitate istallatio, eve i very restricted spaces. The use of galvaised steel paels guaratees icreased resistace to atmospheric coditios. These compoets have exceeded the striget salt-spray corrosio resistace tests accordig to ASTM 117, with over hours exposure to aggressive eviromets. The paels are removable for improved service ad easier access to the iteral compoets. The codeser coils are made of copper tubes, mechaically expaded ito alumiium fis, with a icreased heat exchage surface. The refrigerat-to-water heat exchagers are plate heat exchagers, esurig optimum heat trasfer at reduced dimesios. The plates are made of welded stailess steel. This heat exchager type requires less refrigerat tha traditioal heat exchagers of the same capacity. Scroll compressors ru very quietly ad vibratio-free. They are kow for their durability ad reliability. The motors are fully cooled by suctio gas ad permit up to 12 starts per hour. These compressors are especially desiged for operatio with R-4A. Microprocessor-cotrolled automatic outdoor heat exchager defrost cycles allow the uit to operate with high efficiecy at low outdoor temperatures.
