4 Specialised In-situ Field Machining Hydratight s portable machining solutions offer a variety of industry proven tools for the mining industry. In addition to portable milling and boring bars, Hydratight delivers pipe cutting and bevelling, grinding, end prepping and portable heat treating. These tools are available for sale, rental or service with our experienced Hydratight technicians. Portable Drilling and Boring Hydratight has produced a range of portable drilling and boring machines for general drilling and stud removal applications. These machines can be bolted directly to the work piece or through the use of magnetic bases. Portable CNC Drill Hydratight offers portable CNC machines for boring and tapping from 25.4 mm mm (1 8") diameter with a mm (12") depth capacity. The CNC controlled genisys can achieve any thread pitch and coarse without the need for taps. Portable Milling Machines Hydratight s portable milling machines are designed for rugged in-situ machining e.g. milling, drilling and boring applications on jobs previously thought to be impossible without extensive disassembly. Portable mills can be clamped or bolted directly onto the part being machined or fabricated. Setup jigs and parallel-mounting fixtures can be used to position portable milling machines in difficult work area conditions. 5 In-situ Heat Treating The most advanced portable heat treatment equipment and highly skilled field technicians combine to deliver accurate and affordable in-situ resistance and induction heat treating services for all your pre-or post-weld requirements.
