10 TLT-Babcock Manufacturing facilities Medina Assembly Adjacent to the Leitner facility, TLT-Babcock maintains a 30,000 square foot assembly plant that performs testing, final assembly and rebuilds for axial fan rotors, main bearing assemblies and hydraulic units. In support, the facility maintains a large inventory of spare fan parts. Testing capabilities include over-speed, performance and scale model testing. TLT-Babcock assembles and factory tests axial and centrifugal fan components prior to shipment, reducing field man hour requirements and potential customer field assembly problems. Testing services help reduce operating costs, extend the life of fans and provide a better understanding of as-built operating conditions, efficiencies and limitations. TLT-Babcock s fan testing ensures that performance meets design specifications, regardless of the original manufacturer. All TLT-Babcock-made fan rotating components are completely assembled and tested at our facility prior to delivery. Here, we can perform full-size or scale-model performance testing, over-speed testing and balancing.
