1 ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT: LOCAL FOOTPRINT NATURE EVALUATE THE IMPACT OF YOUR ORGANIZATION S OPERATIONS, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AND OPTIMIZE YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE

2 From design to implementation, UTOPIES has been guiding and supporting businesses and public administrations for over twenty five years, helping them to make sustainable development an integral part of their policies and practices. Within our Local Living Economies division we believe that engaging in environmental footprint assessments is a powerful tool for organizations to successfully identify and seize opportunities for environmental optimization and ultimately maximize their positive impacts on local communities, and we are dedicated to proving that, one impact study at a time. OUR MISSION // Quantify environmental impacts every step of your supply chain with over 40 indicators (CO 2, water, surfaces, raw materials, etc.). // Identify strategic impact reduction and adaptation opportunities (per product / service, procurement segment, operational unit ). // Align your reduction strategy with the global effort to limit global warming below 2 C (Science Based Targets) and the UN s Sustainable Development Goals. 4 GOOD REASONS TO USE LOCAL FOOTPRINT NATURE // Evaluate your business model s impact (upstream, in-house, downstream) on natural resources and climate with a swift, trusted and affordable method. // Identify priority action levers to face major environmental challenges : climate change, resource rarefication, increasing environmental sanitary risks and accelerated biodiversity loss. // Showcase your organization s positive contribution and reinforce stakeholder confidence (clients, shareholders, investors ). // Enrich your extra-financial reporting and comply with new CSR reporting standards (French Grenelle II environmental law, GRI, Integrated Reporting, B Corp, mission-driven companies ).

3 MEASURE ALL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR BRAND // We offer 2 levels of data collection to create a set of indicators tailored to your organization I / Detailing the impact of your energy and material flows* on the most significant sections of your footprint (up- as well as downstream) * For instance : Employee home/workplace mobility (km travelled/type of transport), waste (tons), leased assets up- and downstream (m2) II / In-depth analysis of impacts associated with procurement on suppliers worldwide (1st tier, 2nd tier, 15th tier) Our analysis is compatible with other international standards of impact assessment and reduction management schemes (GHG Protocol, Bilan Carbone, Water Footprint, ) OVER 40 INDICATORS AVAILABLE PER SECTOR AND COUNTRY (43 COUNTRIES AND 5 ZONES) // I. Standard indicators // II.
