7 Need of Waste Water Recycling Project To meet huge water requirement due to industrial development, recycle and reuse of water is essential. 9 PROJECT CONCEPT Tertiary treatment of secondary treated sewage and to generate Industrial Grade Water for supply of Industrial Grade water to Pandesara Industrial Estate. OBJECTIVE Tertiary Sewage Treatment Plant - Waste water Recycle - Reuse Project Recycle / Reuse of waste water Contribution towards reducing the dependency on conventional resources of water. Assured resource for Pandesara Industrial Estate. Enabled SMC to reduce pressure on conventional water resources in the city. Guaranteed revenue generation for Surat Municipal Corporation.

15 Existing Plants : 40 MLD capacity at Bamroli. (Phase I) to cater need of Pandesara Industrial Estate. Work In Progress : 35 MLD capacity at Bamroli. (Phase II) to cater need of Sachin Industrial Estate. 40 MLD capacity at Dindoli to cater additional need of Pandesara Industrial Estate. To explore further use of Tertiary Treated Sewage Water for Gardening, Lake Development, One TTP of 1 MLD capacity is taken up as pilot project at Kavi Kalapi Garden, West Zone of Surat. Future Planning : Conversation with Utran power house for use of Tertiary Treated Sewage Water is under process. Upon finalization of the actual demand, Techno - Commercial feasibility work will be expedited for TTP at Kosad. To cater the demand of Tertiary Treated sewage water for industrial cluster of Hazira based industrial area, SMC had series of meetings with end users & accordingly planning has been undertaken to establish TTP at Bhesan.
