2 Project Code: 03SC15JG Sugarcane injury was not observed 28 days after herbicides were applied in March. At 22 days after the April application some sugarcane injury was observed but was no more than 11%. Injury consisted of stunting and white banding on new leaves emerging from the whorl. By 43 days after the April application, however, sugarcane height was equivalent for all herbicide treatments and the nontreated control. Additionally, in late July/early August, sugarcane height and stalk population were each equivalent regardless of herbicide treatment. 2
