Taiwan) or elsewhere in many developed countries, UF Resin powder is not classified as Hazardous goods. In its intact state, though the product is nonhazardous in nature, emission of free formaldehyde from the product is hazardous to human health on long term exposure. 2.2 Health Hazard Information: The product itself emits a very low amount of formaldehyde. However, in well ventilated storage areas or workplace, the concentration of formaldehyde is not likely to affect the general environment. 2.3 Exposure to free formaldehyde at workplace may result in the following health effects: - Eye irritation causing discomfort in the eye. - Skin irritation resulting in itching and occasional rash. - Nose, throat and lung irritation, especially on people closest to the emitter. 2.4 Explosion Danger: None Scheduled. 2.5 Dangerous goods class & Side Risks: None Allocated. 2.6 Poisons schedule Number: None Scheduled

3 3 COMPOSITION / INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS 3.1 Substances: The ingredients listed below have been associated with one or more immediate and or delayed health detriments. Risk of damage and effects depends upon duration and level of exposure. Before using or exposure to these ingredients, please read and understand the MSDS. 3.2 Chemical Name, CAS Number, Proportion: Urea-formaldehyde-Resin Powder, , >99.35% Formaldehyde, , <0.35% 3.3 Classification: Non-dangerous 4 FIRST AID MEASURES 4.1 Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Offer water to drink. If abdominal discomfort occurs, seek medical attention. 4.2 Eye Contact: Flush with flowing water for at least 15 minutes. If symptoms persists, seek medical attention. 4.3 Skin Contact: Wash with mild soap and running water. Remove contaminated clothes. Do not rub or scratch skin, if irritation occurs. If irritation recurs, seek medical advice. 4.4 Inhalation: Provide fresh air, In cases of sickness, seek medical advice. 4.5 First Aid Facilities: Provide eye wash facility. 4.6 Advice to Doctor: Treat based on symptoms. 5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES 5.1 Specific Hazards: Non-combustible material. 5.2 Extinguishing media: Water, Carbon dioxide, Foam or fire extinguishers. 5.3 Protective precautions for firefighters: Firefighters wear breathing apparatus. 5.4 Combustion resulting from gas: Not applicable 5.5 Hazchem code: None allotted. 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES 6.1 Emergency procedures: Wear protective equipment to prevent skin and eye contact as well as breathing in vapors. Well ventilate the areas of spill. Prevent spill from running off into drains and

4 waterways. Use soil, sand or other inert material. Wash the area with adequate water. Cover any spilled material in accordance with regulations to prevent dispersal by wind. 6.2 Methods for cleaning up: Wear protective equipment and damp dust before filling it into containers. 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE 7.1 Handling information: Avoid dust formation. 7.2 Precautions against fire and explosion: Static electricity discharge could happen during transport and process. Take precautionary measures against static electricity charge. Ensure all parts of equipment are well earthed. Use inert gas when working with combustible and explosive gas or liquids. Avoid dust accumulation. Remove dust regularly. 7.3 Storage information : The bagged Urea-formaldehyde-Resin Powder should be stored in well ventilated areas, away from heat, flame, sparks and direct sunlight. Smoking is prohibited in storage or working areas. 8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION 8.1 Exposure Standards: There is not any law about any exposure standards in Taiwan. 8.2 Short Term Exposure Limit: There are limits to and control over exposure to the environment. Exposure to the average concentration in the air shall not exceed 30 minutes at a time. This must be abided by during the 8 working hours. According to current knowledge, this concentration neither damages the health of all staff, nor causes undue discomfort. 8.3 Engineering controls: Local exhaust ventilation should be provided in areas so to eliminate and remove the dispersal in the air. General dilution ventilation should be provided as necessity to keep emission below the applicable exposure limits and guidelines. The need for ventilation systems should be evaluated by a professional industrial hygienist, while the design of specific ventilation systems should be conducted by a professional engineer. 8.4 Personal protection General protection and hygiene measures: - Skin protection: Wear loose and comfortable clothing. Long sleeved shirts and

5 trousers are recommended to prevent skin irritation. Wash work clothes regularly and separately from other clothes. - Hand protection: Use rubber gloves. - Eye protection: Wear industrial safety glasses or antifogging goggles, if necessary. - Respiratory protection: Avoid inhaling gaseous emission.
