1 Technical Data Sheet DOW TG-10 Specialty Amine For Gas Treating Introduction DOW TG-10 Specialty Amine solvent is formulated to provide reduced final sulfur dioxide (SO 2 ) effluent in tail gas treaters. Providing near 99.9% sulfur conversion, DOW TG-10 Specialty Amine solvent permits gas processors to meet the 10 ppm hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S) specification in tail gas treating applications without increased carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) pickup and resultant sulfur plant capacity reduction. Special Advantages DOW Specialty Amine solvents offer these important special advantages: Significant energy savings through reduced reboiler duty, decreased pumping requirements because of lower solvent circulation, and elimination of solvent reclaiming. Reduced solvent loss because of low foaming tendency and lower solvent vapor pressure. Increased acid gas processing ability with existing facilities. Technical support and complete solvent services to assure ongoing trouble-free operation. Total Gas Treating Solutions Dow delivers the world s broadest line of solutions for H 2 S and CO 2 treating, including UCARSOL Solvents for Gas Treating SELEXOL Physical Solvents UCARKLEAN Solutions for Cleaning Gas Treatment Systems UCARSEP Amine Reclamation System DOW Specialty Amines In addition to a full range of product options, Dow Gas Treating Products and Services also provides unmatched applications expertise, technical service, and advanced analytical and simulation capabilities globally.
