5 In the late seventies, Pune was at the threshold of industrial boom. Major and small engineering units, automotive plants and ancillary units were coming up fast and rapidly. We gauged and realized the business potential in Pune and in 1981 partnered into Mahavir Steel Industries, an existing company at Bhosari, established in Business flourished, we had made inroads in all engineering giants in Pimpri-Chinchwad and the surrounding industrial areas. Soon we were generating more orders than the 100 tonnes per day capacity. It was time to move. Also, more opportunity was arising in the agricultural sector in the southern parts of Maharashtra in the form of burgeoning grape vineyards. Yawat was the perfect location just outside Pune on the Pune - Solapur trunk road. We started setting up our second unit on a 11-acre land. Two rolling mills, one shifted from Bhosari and a new 16 modern mill with 6 rolling alleys, went into production on February 19, We also built a small lab for inhouse quality test. We initially started manufacturing MS angles, beams and channels and then flats, square bars and round bars. Today, we are the biggest manufacturer of flats range in the western Maharashtra region and the largest supplier to the grape growers in Solapur and Sangli districts. The small lab has also grown into a full-fledged quality assurance department. Since the beginning, February 19 is celebrated as the Foundation Day. A day when all stakeholders - business associates, customers and employees, come together and celebrate this day with fun and feast. We have also tied up with the Yawat Hospital for medical facilities for the employees. To meet the faster requirements of our discerning customers we built our own transport fleet of 15 trucks with inhouse maintenance garage based in Bhosari. The workshop at Bhosari also develops EOT cranes and undertakes structural changes. Today, Mahavir Steel with a production output of 300 metric tonnes daily, led by Alok Raniwala, is managed by Atul Raniwala (Director-Purchase) and Amit Raniwala (Director-Marketing).

With the most updated machines and equipments, we are comprehensively set to manufacture high quality MS products. Keeping pace with the advancement in the technology, we continually upgrade the production machines. We are one of the leading manufacturers of Structural Steel in the western part of Maharashtra (India) for the last 40 years. We have a wide range of structural steel section; approximately 200 different items in 8 to 10 lengths, available in ready stock. With flexible manufacturing plans; we can accommodate our customer s urgent requirements. We also manufacture in EN8, EN8D, EN9 and EN16 on prior sale and advance intimation. Structural steel range is in conformance to IS 2062 Grade A. We have a dedicated team of qualified and experienced personnel that ensures timely supply of material to customer requirements. We fight competition, not on price but on total customer satisfaction. We are guided by our work philosophy; to work towards total customer satisfaction to always follow quality parameters of IS 2062 Grade A to adhere to approved quality plan to be transparent and fair in our dealings.

9 P l a n t P r o c e s s With a production output of 300MT a day, processes and controls are very critical. Not only are these consistent in their quality but this also enables us to keep our products competitively priced. We have acquired the latest plant and machinery in order to set up state-of-the-art facility for the production functions. Apart from acquiring the new machineries, we are also focused on maintaining the current ones to optimize their production capabilities and capacities. Our products have found wide acceptance in general building and construction, machinery, heavy and transport industry as well as for agriculture and shipbuilding. Being ISO 9001/2008 certified, safety and environment prevention is an integral part of our responsibilities. We take proper care of the health and safety of our workers in the plant and stringently follow the Company's Health and Safety Policy. We also maintain fruit orchards and lush green gardens within the plant. Rain water harvesting in another project we undertake contributing to the our Green Initiative. The Company is in the process for ISO certification.

11 T e s t i n g & Q u a l i t y Quality is the way of life at Mahavir Steel. An ISO 9001:2008 company, we have system based working at all levels which minimises human error. We have a well established laboratory and technically superior UTS machine, straightening and bundling, composition testing, strength testing machine etc. Our quality check procedure starts with the raw materials. Every batch of ingots and billets that enters our premises is tested for its composition and quality, before its scheduled for production. Random tests are conducted in the production process. impeccable end product to match the customer's requirements. We issue our Mill Test Certificate with an original Hologram, always signed in blue ink. We are open for any third party inspection of our material at our plant. To confirm that our customers get genuine Mahavir products, all our products except rounds and squares are embossed with 'MAHAVIR PUNE. Every batch report is archived for reference and guarantee. Thus, the dedicated QA team ensures IS 2062 Grade A production and absolutely
