3 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Facilitates classroom and hands-on training for all agency lines of business, including DMV, Real Estate and Business Tax; Assists with the development of on-the-job training modules for all lines of business working with subject matter experts to ensure inclusion of process documentation, legislative or statutory changes and thorough vetting of materials; Updates training materials, as needed, to reflect procedural or statutory changes, and assists with communicating changes to users; Ensures trainees understanding of materials and training requirements; assesses application of documented procedures during visits to trainees departments; Solicits and reports participant feedback on the effectiveness of training materials and methods; Assists with on-boarding of newly hired or newly promoted staff; provides input and assistance on departmental initiatives; Assists other departments on a scheduled, periodic basis to ensure that procedural knowledge remains current. Builds and sustains positive relationships with internal and external clients and agency partners. Contributes as an active member of the agency management team, offering input on initiatives and plans. Supports agency s direction, and ensures compliance with agency policies, procedures, training protocols and statutes. Performs other duties as assigned.

5 Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in business, education or a related field; at least two years of subject matter practice; familiarity with classroom training skills; sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Position requires periodic local travel and a valid Florida Driver s License. PERFORMANCE APTITUDES Human Interaction: Requires the ability to provide clear and concise guidance, assistance, and/or interpretation to others regarding the application of procedures and laws to specific situations. Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to utilize a wide variety of reference and descriptive data and information, and superior written skills. Mathematical Aptitude: Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; the ability to calculate decimals and percentages; the ability to utilize principles of fractions; the ability to develop and apply formulas and the ability to interpret graphs and data. Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to discern and convey abstract and procedural items in a sequenced and clear manner. Data Utilization: Requires the ability to determine, calculate, tabulate, and/or summarize data, and subsequent actions. Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving a variety of generally predefined duties which are often characterized by frequent change. Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and Materials Utilization: Requires the ability to operate, maneuver and/or control the actions of equipment, machinery, tools, and/or materials used in performing essential functions. ADA COMPLIANCE Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station. Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate visual cues or signals, and to communicate orally and in writing. Environmental Factors: Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as rude/irate employees.
