1 Internship Placement Coordinator x 2 1 Full time ongoing, and one maximum term contract to November 2019 Convenient CBD location Work for an ASX 200 organisation with a global footprint Develop your career in a collegial and supportive environment ABOUT THE ROLE In this exciting role in Sydney, you will work to build new relationships with industry stakeholders and liaise with industry related organisations by promoting Navitas Interns through events and other related opportunities. As a market expert, you will be comfortable in guiding both students and host companies through the processes and managing their experience that will build flourishing long term relationships. You will liaise with other teams and work effectively with other staff within the Internships and Employment division of Navitas. The role reports to the Operation Manager, NSW. 3 Position Description Title: Internship Placement Coordinator Division: Reports to: Careers & Industry NSW Operations Manager, Internships & Employment 1. Overview and Objectives of the Position: Navitas Professional Internships & Employment (I&E) operations deliver internship and workplace preparatory courses across six Australian states and one territory, to meet the requirements of national professional associations and the workforce generally. The unit provides career ready preparation for students seeking to enter the workforce at early stages of their professional career. I&E offer a portfolio of programs, which develop foundation skills and career learning skills to enable students to progress their employment goals in their chosen career. I&E operates as a collegiate, matrixed operational model leveraging the skills and expertise of the I&E and partner Navitas business units to deliver targeted and nuanced work ready and work development solutions for individuals, education partners, host companies and professional associations across Australia. The I&E team works closely with other Navitas units, to combine areas of expertise to enable a broad range of students and clients to participate and succeed in the workplace of today and the future. The Internship Placement Coordinator works to find internship placements for Navitas participants (Professional Year Program, Career Experience Program, Navitas Professional Internship Program) into host companies. These internship roles are related to the participant s field of study. We have an established network of companies in Sydney Region supporting this program and wish to continually expand our network due to an increase in placements needed. 2. Key Relationships: i. NSW Team Leader Industry Placement ii. NSW Operations Manager iii. Internship Placement Coordinators (State and National) iv. Other Internships & Employment professionals within Navitas v. Navitas programs participants (Professional Year, Career Experience Program, Engineering Experience Study to Work programs) vi. Navitas Professional Trainers vii. Host company representatives Page 3

Key Result Areas: Duties: Develop strong relationships at the appropriate levels within a broad range of industries across Sydney with the aim of generating internship opportunities for Navitas participants. Conduct outbound calls and attend meetings with prospective host companies/internship providers Develop further business opportunities with existing internship partner companies Interview all program participants and shortlist participant resumes for host companies Coach all program participants on interview skills and Australian workplace culture Monitor the progress of the placed interns and provide support to host companies Participate in networking events, information seminars and industry information days Networking with industry to explore further internship opportunities/vacancies Class presentations on internships as required across all internship programs Maintain and update the CRM systems (Salesforce, WIP, and SONIA) Complete general administration work related to internship placements as required Other duties related to the Navitas Internships & Employment unit as directed by Management and the NSW Operations Manager Responsibilities: Business development and expansion of internship opportunities available to Navitas participants Attending meetings with potential and current host companies Act as a liaison point if difficulties arise during the internship Negotiate with internship host company on aspects of internship training plans Recording of all parts of the internship placement process and updating systems appropriately Place graduates into quality and complaint internships with suitable host companies Monitoring intern progress and providing support Weekly Placement reporting Performance Indicators: 100% Internship placement success rate for an allocated project Weekly Reporting to NSW Operation Manager, Internships & Employment Ability to generate new internship partners through business development and client relationships Ability to generate and maintain repeat business through excellent service and client relationships Maintain placement results on a monthly basis (minimum 15 internship placements per month) 4. Qualifications and Selection Criteria Essential: Previous experience within recruitment or human resources or internship operations with a business development focus Targeted networking, business development and cold calling experience Demonstrated ability to meet placement targets and deadlines Exceptional customer and client management skills Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills Strong time management skills, organisational skills and attention to detail Initiative, drive and a strong sense of urgency Desirable: Previous recruitment or placement experience with professional organisations Page 4
